Great Forever Pair of Jeans!

Finally found a longlasting pair of classic jeans. I love that its selvedge and rigid. The classic 501 is a forever style for me, not gonna follow trends anymore. I ordered it in my size and it is roomy because its shrink to fit! You have to soak it in water for an hour thrn hang dry before using it. A lot of negative reviews because people are not familiar with STF selvedge. These are jeans you wear for life because they fit you. I love these so much I bought another pair. I used to hate 501s as a teen in the 90s but love them now because I learned how to style them and thry are so flattering and classic!

Closest to 501s in the 90s

These are closest to the original 501s that I wore in the 90s that I've tried recently. No stretch, strong denim and a great cut. The other 501s today don't fit as well and the denim doesn’t feel as good as these. They are flattering too. They are so good, I bought two pairs - and I haven't done that for a long time!

Jammer dat er geen lengtemaat 34 is.

Bij de maatvoering stond ''valt groter'' maar ik heb toch mijn gebruikelijke maat gekocht. Prachtig, viel lekker ruim en nonchalant en hij was aan de lange kant. Ik ben 178 maar met lengtemaat 32 viel hij tot op de hiel. Ik ben slank en heb een post menopause buikje. De jeans geeft de illusie van wat meer bil en camoufleert mijn buik een beetje. En toen heb ik hem gewassen ...... 6 centimeter gekrompen in de lengte, hij hangt boven mijn enkels. Ik heb geprobeerd de broek weer op lengte te strijken, maar helaas. In de taille is hij een klein beetje gekrompen en zit nu alsof hij voor speciaal op maat gemaakt is voor mij. Zit erg lekker en mooi na het wassen, alleen jammer van de lengte. Ik heb er nog een besteld, besloten om die helemaal NIET te wassen. En het paar dat ik al had mag lekker slijten en misschien dat ik de zoom er uit haal. Er zat bij beide jean vertraging in de bezorging, maar ik ontving keurig netjes een email met een update. Die dingen gebeuren nou eenmaal. Jammer dat deze jeans niet in lengtemaat 34 komt.

These are one of my faves. I love the way they hang. The denim is a bit on the stiff side, which I like. Sits a bit higher on my waist, but not really high-waisted. No stretch, which I like.

Got the 24. They fit big but washed in cold and the length shrunk more then the waist which I was happy about. Also mold to the body after the wash

My "Forever" Jeans

I'm so thrilled with these! I consider them my "forever" jeans :). I went to the Levi's store to try them on and make sure to get 2 sizes over my regular size, and bought them in a size 29 waist x 28 inseam. I first washed them cold and hung them to dry, but they needed additional shrinking, so I then washed them in hot water and put them in the dryer and they are PERFECT! These are the exact jeans that I've been looking for for years!

These jeans are awesome. I am 5'-3", 135-140 lbs, and generally wear 27Wx28L in Levi's. The 28 length usually hits right below my ankle bone. I got both washes of Selvedge in my usual size, and they were pretty different. The lighter wash is a slimmer fit and fits perfectly out of the gate, like so perfectly, I'm a little afraid to wash them. The darker wash was huge and long in my usual size, but the shrink-to-fit brought it down to literally the best fit ever, minimal waist gap, roomier in the hips and legs, and my preferred ankle bone length. Given that shrink-to-fit is so unpredictable, I hope this information helps others anxious about washing and voiding the return option. I'm glad I didn't go even one size up for the dark wash. I definitely recommend these jeans if you can nail down the sizing.

Suuuuper comfortable when broken in

Longtime fan of men’s 501s, I’ve never actually worn the women’s version. Thought I’d try these because they are raw selvedge. Absolutely love them. Good quality of construction and denim. I sized up despite people saying they fit large, for a loose fit even after shrinkage. I’ve been wearing them almost daily for a month, and they’re breaking in nicely and starting to whisker. Soak x 1 and wash x 1 and air dried, they’ve shrunk about a half size. I find them incredibly comfortable, my only complaint is that they are tight in the knees when bent (even with sizing up), but putting them on when damp and doing a few squats fixed that issue.
