These jeans are awesome. I am 5'-3", 135-140 lbs, and generally wear 27Wx28L in Levi's. The 28 length usually hits right below my ankle bone. I got both washes of Selvedge in my usual size, and they were pretty different. The lighter wash is a slimmer fit and fits perfectly out of the gate, like so perfectly, I'm a little afraid to wash them. The darker wash was huge and long in my usual size, but the shrink-to-fit brought it down to literally the best fit ever, minimal waist gap, roomier in the hips and legs, and my preferred ankle bone length. Given that shrink-to-fit is so unpredictable, I hope this information helps others anxious about washing and voiding the return option. I'm glad I didn't go even one size up for the dark wash. I definitely recommend these jeans if you can nail down the sizing.

Longtime fan of men’s 501s, I’ve never actually worn the women’s version. Thought I’d try these because they are raw selvedge. Absolutely love them. Good quality of construction and denim. I sized up despite people saying they fit large, for a loose fit even after shrinkage. I’ve been wearing them almost daily for a month, and they’re breaking in nicely and starting to whisker. Soak x 1 and wash x 1 and air dried, they’ve shrunk about a half size. I find them incredibly comfortable, my only complaint is that they are tight in the knees when bent (even with sizing up), but putting them on when damp and doing a few squats fixed that issue.
