Our Commitment
At Levi Strauss & Co., we’re committed to making our digital experiences inclusive and accessible for everyone. We design the Levi’s® website and mobile Apps in the United States with accessibility in mind. Our efforts to improve digital usability and accessibility are guided by recommendations established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which includes the currently approved Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Levels A and AA. We are also firmly dedicated to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Our efforts are ongoing as we continue to develop our digital accessibility program led by our Digital Accessibility Manager, which includes coordination with internal and external accessibility partners, as well as designing, developing, and testing Levi’s®: website and mobile apps for accessibility.
Here is how we're Building an Accessible Digital Experience at Levi’s®:
- Annual accessibility audits completed by our external digital accessibility partner, evaluating compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards, using both manual and automated testing and tools.
- Accessible by design for new features and services.
- Embedding accessibility across the business by our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team.
- Ongoing accessibility training on accessibility standards and best practices.
- Established feedback process for Levi’s customers to let us know if there are any accessibility issues.
We understand accessibility is an ongoing journey and are committed to evolving with our customers and technology.
