These live up to the hype!

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans for 20 years. I wanted that lived in feel of my favorite pair from high school. I’ve studied weave, fit and obviously it had to be button fly. These are the jeans I have been searching for in thrift shops. They are perfect! No muffin top, can squat and breathe and they look amazing. I washed cold and air dried after a few wears. I did not see any shrinkage and immediately ordered a second pair in a different color.

I have been searching for these, I just didn’t know it! I’ve wanted button fly, 90’s style Levis for years! I’m curvy, and the last time I tried on Levis with no stretch, they didn’t work at all. So I was really nervous for these and sized up from a 28 to a 29. I could’ve stayed with a 28 but I like the slouch! My waist is 30” and my hips 39” for reference.

They do RUN BIG and 100% cotton will stretch out on top of that so size one size down. I’m 5’10, 160, wearing 30 in mother jeans Thats are mostly 98% cotton and 2% elastane. If they’re 100 cotton then I always size down to 29 and they eventually become 30, lol!!! They didn’t have 29 in these and I wanted them so badly that I took the 30. I can deal with they’re not THAT off base but I will be tossing them in the dryer each wash. They really are the perfect fitting denim with a mid to high waist. They say mid but it’s not that mid. The thigh circumference is that deal breaker! It’s perfect! I have athletic thighs and jeans always tend to gather there so I have to shift around but these just graze them nicely! They’ll become perfect after shrinkage and time. I’m glad I got them but you do need one size down

Great quality, color and style except that the waist tapers in and I don’t have a waist. I need a straight waist more like the ribcage or low - mid rise doesn’t work for me.
