After missing out on my size for the So High bootcut jeans released last year, I was still on the hunt for a pair. I came across these and settled for the straight leg and fished out the extra $60 and boy was I NOT disappointed. This denim is HEAVY and has the famous soft hand that Japanese denim is known for. They hit about right at my belly button, and the high rise looks great shown off with a ribbed tank or a cropped boxy-fit t. They fit straighter than the 501 which are quite slim on my athletic build, I’d say the cut is closer to a 551Z. For comparison I put them next to a 502 Taper, which have a low rise. If you're a guy with a smaller waist/muscular thighs and have trouble fitting into your true waist size because of the lower rise, these jeans are for you.

It is difficult for me to find higher rise jeans from any brand. Most brands cater to the younger buyers. These jeans fit great but are pricey. I hope these become available in a lighter stone wash.

I’ve been wearing these jeans since i received them. I’ve never found a pair of light wash jeans that draped right or came in a nice wash that wasn’t TOO light or distressed, So I wrote off light washed jeans out of my wardrobe for a while. Hunt’s over! These sit above the waist, closer to belly button. If you have athletic thighs/glute with a slimmer waist; these are for you. If you prefer higher rise jeans in general, also for you. True straight fit from waist to leg opening. Soft Japanese denim, made in Bulgaria of high quality fit/finish. The finish is really good. Nice heavy weight with solid stitching and slick details. I dig it. These jeans are cool. They’re not 501s, they’re not any other model Levi’s offers. These stand on their own. I say these fit true to size. P.S. if you’re into looser fits to replicate Y2K, Balenciaga type vibes, etc. these will do the trick. Super cool jeans!

Two weeks ago I ordered a 36/32 to fit my 36/32 measurements. When I tried them on they were far too big. I measured and the waist measurement was 40" wide, NOT 36". I was fine with exchanging for a smaller size but they said that option was unavailable. I'm incredibly disappointed. I've been wearing Levis almost my whole life.
