For Spring/Summer 2022, Levi’s® Vintage Clothing drew inspiration from the environmental movement that took hold of young Americans in the late ‘60s and eventually culminated in the first-ever Earth Day in 1970.
In 1969, Levi's® introduced the 517™ Bootcut Jean as “Saddleman” jeans, specially made to fit over Western boots. Born during the height of the counterculture movement, the 517™ became a canvas for self-expression: political, music preferences or personal style.
Today, we reproduced this archetypal bootcut jean with mid-wash denim crafted from 100% cotton.
