They are LEVI's - which have a good fit. I bought a pair of shorts that came to me wrapped in plastic and reeked. The pants were not in plastic and at first - did not reek. I did not do a good job, I went to wear them and pulled on the tags, and there was the same stale water smell. They need to be washed before wearing (and yes, you really should wash anything before wearing).

I really like these jeans. I luv Levis, but these are the best so far. Soft & stretchy. More stretcy than I'm use to in a Levi. I usually wear a 20 in Levis. I carry my way in my middle section. I bought a 18w & they were loose fitting
