Fits perfectly everywhere but the waist

I am usually a 30" in other jeans, but in Levi my waist size is 31" Bought on sale and only 30" was available! There are very tight in the waist, and fit well everywhere else. Bought because it was a match for a jean jacket. I wish there were more washes available in both jacket, and pants!

True to size, go up a size if you prefer a little baggier fit or down a size if you prefer a snug fit. Cute classic jeans. I have 3 pairs of the 501 originals now and I’ve learned that I prefer the ones with the light stretch. This pair does not have any stretch but I bought and kept them because I wanted a medium/darker wash that didn’t have whiskering for a cleaner look. They fit good and true to size, but I would say the ones without any stretch are slightly bigger in the waist and slightly slimmer in the thigh. I do wear the same size in both fabrics, but there is a little bit of difference. This specific wash I do find to be softer than others so that was a nice surprise.

I have grown up wanting Levi 501's my entire life. I was a farm girl, Levi's were the staple. But I was 5'10 by the time I was 12 and the jeans were never long enough. I'm 35 and was finally able to buy my first pair of Levi's in a long length and I am truly the happiest human. They are exactly what I grew up knowing they are. Hard to buy jeans online. I had to exchange for a different size. Worked out perfectly and I was able to get a 28" length as I am only 5'1". I just wanted a real feel all cotton jean and that's what these are. I ordered another color in low stretch - sized down one inch because even low stretch jeans seem to get loose after an hour or so. For reference I am 5'1", 110lbs, with a slimmer body - not so curvy. 28" is great with boots.

I have lots of baggies, which i love, but just wanted a nicer fit to wear with sandals which is a nice look. these fit perfectly. normally i don't buy jeans with any stretch but 1% works. buttons were a little difficult at first but are now fine. will be purchasing a lighter wash for summer!
