I bought the blue Levis and they are beyond WONDERFUL -- LOT of stretch and excellent fit -- The black jeans -- NOT so much! Bought regular size (6) which were horrible so I sized up and they were baggy -- I HATE baggy jeans and they were baggy because there is NO stretch to them whatsoever -- The blue Levis are like a Gumby -- They will stretch forever the black ones?? I don't know but I returned the second pair and will try again NEXT year, hoping for better ...

Not all colors fit the same

I bought one pair of black jean and loved the fit. I then ordered two pairs of denim and one pair of stone jeans. The denim was of a different fabric with a different fit - lower waist and became baggy as I wore them. Further, the two pairs of demin did not even fit the same. The stone jeans were closer to the black in material and fit.

the dye rubbed onto my sofa and seats in my car.. It stained the cushion on my sofa and chair before I was aware it was leaving a stain. Only sit on item that are dark or you don't mind it leaving a bad stain. Horrible!!!!!!

Each pair of Levi 505 jeans fit different. They are unreliable. You have to try on 10 pair to get one that fits. I bought one pair and loved them. Tried to buy another pair and had to buy a size smaller to get them to fit. Tried a third pair in the smaller size and couldn’t keep them up. Let the buyer beware!

I was suprised to see such a difference in the fit between Classic Straight and Straight leg jeans. I returned the Straight leg and kept the Classic Straight. Unfortunately, finding Classic Straight leg jeans in size 33/32 is an issue both online and in-store. I will keep looking!

Purchased black & ambiance, they fit differently even though the were both 505s. The ambiance were too long & too loose. They also had a chemical smell, Ive washed them and left them to air out and the smell hasn’t gone away. Disappointed!

The first pair of these I liked a lot. The fit was good, the material was heavier
then the 714’s. I wear a size 2. This last pair says it’s a 2 but it is a 4. I have 4’s and this is a 4. I washed these before wearing or I would’ve sent them back. The thighs are really big even for a 4. Levis should do better!

Jeans are too stretchy

These jeans are too stretchy. I have another pair of 505 levis I've had for about 4 years and they are nowhere near as stretchy as these are.

Talk about weird sizing!! I need a long, not a 32 (if it is) Each pair seems to be more stretch, less, none, Some 29's fit while the 31's are too small. You really need to try on a few.. When you find one grab them. Great old jeans. I wish they WERE the good old Levi's 505!

I don't know if I got a bad pair or what. I ordered a 29/8 Short. I'm 5'3" 140lbs. These jeans were so baggy on me- I could pull them off without unzipping. The length was too long too. Return

Too much material across the hips!

Several years ago I bought a pair of 505's from Kohls and they are my favorite. I was trying to get another pair and tried on a 10S, the same size as my favorites and there was just too much material around the zipper area and hips. I discovered my old pair is 99% cotton and 1% stretch. They don't stretch much at all. The new one's are 60% cotton, 23% Viscose, 16% Polyester and 1% Elastane. I think that is the problem. Maybe all these keep the price down. I also tried an 8s and a 6s. Still not satisfied with the fit. I miss the old Levi's! I have worn them for years. Mostly because I need them short.

I'm 5'4" 118 lb with slim hips. I generally wear a 2. The length is great, but fit is baggy on me. Will keep for winter wearing as can wear base layer easily under this generously cut pants. I will however not buy another pair.

legs are not what I think of as straight

I found these to be a little tight in the waist and unflattering. The leg basically stays the same width from hip to ankle, which makes them wider than what I think of as a straight legged pant, without any of the flattering flare of a boot cut jean. Not my favorite.

I ordered a size 8L ( my normal size 10) because the reviews said that it runs big. After wearing it for 2 hours, it started stretching even moreeee. It is not straight at all, it is more like a boot jean.

I am 5'3" 105 lb. Ordered a 4M and it swallows me - big all over - more so than just "straight through hip and thigh". A Levi mid rise skinny 4M fits me well - sizing is a mystery to me. Fabric seems good though.

Who wants polyester in jeans? These jeans have a horrible smell and are thin and cheap looking.
What happen to real Levis? Bring back 99% cotton, 1% stretch. 505s were the best jeans. Levis, you ruined them.

I've worn Levi's for years and I have never had a problem with the smell that these jeans have. I have soaked and washed the jeans 6 times and the smell is just as bad as when I opened the package. I don't think I will be wearing these jeans any time soon

Now thay they've gone to stretch, they don't fit right. I've went to a size 2 long a size smaller and they are baffing by noon. After 30 plus years I will have to say goodbye to my favorite 505 levi jeans and find a new brand of straight leg jeans.
