I thought these were “original 505”, but they have the spandex or whatever it is that makes them kind of stretchy. I guess I should of read the description better. You buy the size you need and by the end of the day they are falling off

I was extremely disappointed when I receive my 505 Straight Leg jeans. I was expecting 99% cotton as indicated on the site I ordered them from. Instead I got 60% cotton, 23% viscose, 16% polyester, 1% elastane. I did not have time to return before my trip, so I decided to give them a try. Turned out they held their shape and were very comfortable, but I still miss being able to get cotton jeans.

I bought two pair of the dark and two pair of the lighter and more pre-worn color. This review is for the lighter/pre-worn color. The material is very different than the dark material, and loose and gets looser throughout the day. I don't like these nearly as much as the darker color

First I ordered a size 4. I was closer to a 4 than a 2 in the size chart. They were way too big, especially the inner thighs. I washed them in hot water and dried on high heat. No shrinkage. I ordered a size 2. They are okay in the waist but still too big in the inside thighs. Just not a good fit. I'll stick to the 714s size 27. They fit perfectly. I'm 5'5" 112 lbs.

I have been wearing Levi's for many years, but the last few years have been disappointed in the addition of "stretchy" material (viscose) to the cotton. Prefer all cotton and cannot find. Also when I buy the same cut, style, length cannot be relied on, material may be different depending on color.

I ordered the ambiance color because I already have jeans of a darker color. The color that appears on the model is a very light blue. Well, that's not what I got. The color I got was much closer to the western hue color and almost dead on to a pair of 505's I purchased years ago. The fit is fantastic! But I'm disappointed in the color.

I will continue to buy levi's because they are better than the other options. BUT, the sizing is odd. The waist and length will fit, but in all 4 pairs, same size, just different colors, the hips run large. The stretch is overpronounced and makes it look like I need to go down a size...but can't or I can't breathe. I hate the the amount of stretch; would welcome a much higher cotton ratio.

I bought these in a 26 S. I have 3 pairs of 26 S in 505 Slight Curve. They fit me like a glove, but after several years they have worn out. I normally wear a Size 0 or 2. I was very disappointed that Levi's has discontinued the Curve ID line, but it is what it is. SO I bought these 505's. And they are HUGE on me. They fit more like 27's or 28's, or even 29's by the end of the day. Very disappointing, now I am stuck with pants that don't really fit right. I will have to pay extra to have them altered or just put up with giant pants. While it is undoubtedly a fine thing to fit into a smaller size than you thought you were those of us who really are that smaller size just want our pants to fit. I wish I had known before ordering how large Levi's run now, because I would have ordered a 24 or 25 or even a Junior or Girl's size. It's not just the 505's, either, because I also ordered 414's and 501CT's in 26 and they are also enormous! I love the styles and looks, I just wish they fit properly!

The material is very stretchy, not what I would expect from Levi. I should wear a 14M, I purchased 4 pair. They were extremely large and just became larger after a few hours of wearing. So, I purchased 5 pair of 12M, the same problem, although they almost fit at first, after a few hours they become huge.

This is a very nice jean don't get me wrong, they have stretch if you like hat and very soft,However they ran very big and fit too loose for my liking. They also in my personal opinion fit more like a boot cut than a straight leg, I bought 2 pair and sent them both back. I think I would have liked them better if they fit properly. but I ordered them too big.

I don't understand why sizes don't stay the same. Just because I order a dark denim or a light denim the size should stay the same. However for some reason I have to order different sizes depending on color. The jeans are nice quality but due to inconsistent sizing I now have to return my order at my expense .
