Replacement pair is too dark

These are the best jeans. They were probably the first pair I had bought in YEARS that fit me well everywhere, and they are super comfortable! I needed to replace my old pair of these jeans, because I wore them completely out. I absolutely LOVE these jeans, so I was so happy to see that they still make them! I ordered the Sleek Blue color to replace my old jeans, but the color on the new ones is WAAY too dark. I'm almost afraid that they sent me the wrong color, because the ones I received look more like the legacy color. Sleek blue on the website look more blue and less navy. And I checked and none of the tags say what color these are. I'm going to try to exchange them with a lighter color probably maui rays? I'm including my issues with the color because the link to give feedback is broken.

Yes, I recommend this product.

A winner

Bought these about a month ago and have worn them a lot. Always classic and comfy. Only rated it a 4 because they do run a little big and probably could have gone down a size.

Not for me

These did not fit me but they seemed like nice pants. I'm tall and thin and they were baggy on me and very short waisted. The length was good but they are a little thinner than traditional jeans.

Great fit but not denim anymore

I only wear Levi’s because they fit me well. I love my new jeans but am disappointed that they are now 30% polyester and are only about 70% cotton. I love that they stretch but these black pants (I can’t even refer to them as jeans or denim anymore) attract all sorts of lint due to the high polyester count. So, I will return my second pair. Fit and color are great through, as always.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Too much flare for a straight leg

They are comfortable, but I didn't ask for flair. Compared to the 1970s this is not a flare, nonetheless they are not a straight jean. It looks like more of a, extra-wide boot cut. I purchased about a week ago for work.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I like it but...

I am 38 in hip and 27 1/2 in waist . I am 5.8" and 135 lbs...been wearing Levi jean in size 27(4) and it fit perfect. So i ordered in Marui Ray color, happy with inseam 32" but this feels a bit big like size 6. But i will keep it to mix and match my wearing..lol

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hopefully helpful

I purchased four pair of the Levi’s 505s each a different color. I’m keeping all pair because I enjoy the versatility of each look. However, this may be helpful to some of you- Sleek Blue is 99% cotton, Maui Rays 80% cotton, Immersion 81% cotton and Ambience 60% cotton. The Sleek Blue is my favorite as it is closest to (but not the same) as the original 505 Levi’s that so many of us used to love. I did not give 5 stars because I want my 100% cotton back! Please Levi’s Co if you’re listening!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Excited that size 18 fit

I was so happy to finally get into a regular size again, but after wearing for three hours and they are so loose I need to keep pulling them up or go get a belt. I guess I will see if size 16 are any better.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good fit

Low rise are not for round bottoms. I can't bend over or squat low, because of the backside. I wear skin tone undergarment to hide my backside. Even so, I have long legs but the and the fit is still good.

Great Purchase

The fit is perfect and the comfort is wonderful. I am a male who finally tried woman’s jeans for right fit and was not at all disappointed. After years of baggy men’s jeans finally jeans that fit just right.

I normally buy this style of Levi’s. This time they are overly large and too long. I wear them around the house but not out.

Love these jeans

Great pair of jeans. The lengths do vary. I wear medium length and each pair is different. The dark blue seem to be a different quality of fabric. They stretch out like a size larger after a couple hours of wear. The length on them is like two inches longer.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The Classic is Back! 505

A few years ago Levi ruined the 505 by putting 40% Lycra in our perfect classic jean. What they made was a legging. Shrieks were heard around the world! In 2018, Levis returned to the Classic 505, with 80% Cotton, 20% Poly, (to reduce shrinkage). What remains is a perfectly made, never shrinking Classic 505 jean. That is, IF you purchase the preshrunk jeans. If you purchase the dark unwashed jeans, the sizing is off at the get go.... The preshrunk jeans are perfect from the beginning......

Yes, I recommend this product.

color not as pictured

Really liked the look of island rinse color in the picture of these Levis but what I received was labeled 'dark blue'. Island Rinse looked like it was a black shade. Not at all what I had hoped to receive. Fit was larger than the same style jeans I recently bought in a different color.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Levis

I purchased these jeans because I wanted a little more room in them through the thighs. There were too short and regular are usually a little long since I wear flat shoes everyday. I have a couple of other Levis in different styles and I love them.

Nice, but pic is deceiving

I already had a pair of these jeans and love them, so I decided to get another pair. I like the ‘sleek blue’ color as it is a little nicer for the days I can wear jeans to work. The fit is great—the 14 short is not too short. My only complaint is that they have horizontal “worn” lines across the front hip area, which is not apparent in the photo and is not mentioned in the description. I’m trying to decide whether to keep them or not.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great length

So glad that Levi's medium-length is actually long enough since finding long sizes is a challenge in most stores and require special order. Be aware --different colors fit differently. For example black is cut much smaller than colors.

not your mother’s Levi jeans

Nice jeans.. they run big. I thought Levi’s ran small so I sized up to a 16. They were very big. I returned them and got my usual size, 14 and they are still roomy but will work for the winter with long underwear under them The jeans have a LOT of stretch and they are so comfortable and so fat hold their shape. the waist is higher than most of my jeans too. But all in all, I like them. (Also, I got talls and they are plenty long.. I have a 35” inseam)

Yes, I recommend this product.

Strange design

I couldn’t keep these because there was a little pooch around my hips and then the seam tucked in at the thigh, making me look like I was wearing jodhpurs. Poor design. The best pants for women are straight on the outer seam and the inner seam narrows for straight legs. The allowance for rear end and buttocks comes from the center back seam and the higher waist in back.
