Levi 505 are my new favorite jeans. I have difficulty finding jeans that are the right fit in the waist, hip and length and these jeans are, for now, my favorite. (I also like the Dream Jean. I size up for a close but not tight fit.) As with most Levi's ( and Lee brands as well) the waist and length can vary within the same size so it's almost always best to buy these in the store so you can check the waist and length variances in person enabling you to get the proper waist and length fit. I ordered these jeans online, the waist was ok but the length was long. I will wear these with heels. My search for the perfect jeans began with the introduction of elastic, Lycra and spandex to the jeans market. I really miss 100% cotton jeans. The fit and wear of a good weighted denim is like no other. The introduction of spandex to jeans was a crime in my opinion. Cotton jeans wear better with age , get softer with time and last longer than the stretch induced cousins. Levi's offers the 501 jeans in cotton but 501's are made for men, not women with small waists and curves.

For a women in her 60's these jeans look and feel great. The 10 was a little big, but I plan to buy another pair in an 8 and in black. I typically wear a size 8, but I don't like tight and jeans normally run small. But these have a nice stretch, so I will size down on my next pair.

These are the best James ever! In fact, I have ordered for different colors. I am 5'5" tall. I weigh 150 pounds! The relaxed fit on these jeans have allowed me to wear a size 6! Very comfortably! I can wear them all day without having a muffin top! Even after eating, I don't need to unzipped my fly for comfort! LOL! The length is perfect, as you can see in the picture! I highly recommend these!

I love the variety in colors. The only thing is that sizes tend to not always be accurate, they either run a little small or large depending on the color. That is why I tend sometimes purchase and return them. They have to fit just right for me to keep.

Love these....next best jeans to the Levi's 501's from the 70s. Super comfy, great length to ankle. And thanks to Macys for now adding the actual size in the area in addition to the confusing Levi's waist/length.
