I prefer a zipper and a tapered leg, 502s are my go-to fit. The color is exactly what I was looking for a dark/medium blue with slight fading. I sized down as the stretch can sometimes be too much and the fit was perfect. Highly recommend and almost certainly will buy again.

Great fit, I find the cut to be just right for my styling. Somewhat of a middle-ground between the 501 and the 511. Enough room up top like the 501 but a nice tapered leg for a modern look like the 511. I will be buying the more of these as different colors/washes become available. Great job Levi.

Love the premium line with the added touches. It’s worth the extra money in my opinion. The selvedge is an added touch of classic Levi’s that made the brand recognizable around the world. Thanks for getting back to your roots.

Great jeans. Not to stiff but they don't feel cheap. Slightly looser around the calf than the chino taper.

This is my first pair of selvedge denim. The price is right, the fit is great, and they are comfortable from the start. I like that they have a bit of stretch built in too.

While Levi's online order experience leaves much to be desired (no telling if or when your jeans will arrive), these 502 selvedge jeans were worth the hassle. Best looking jeans that I own. I normally wear a 33/30 but wound up going with a 34/30. I find that I need to size up with certain Levi's styles or else they're too tight. Hopefully these 34/30s don't stretch as they're perfect as of right now but I could see them possibly getting baggy over time but, who knows. All you can do is roll the dice and see what happens.

Great as expected, but the color was a little lighter.

I've only had them for a few weeks and a couple wears, but I mostly want to share that the fit was spot on for me since that's a big guessing point when shopping online.. I was looking for a cleaner fit than my old baggy pairs, and the 502 delivered. Just enough room to look fitted without being a tight skinny style, and the leg taper was just enough to keep things neat at the cuff without needing to squeeze my foot through. They are soft out of the bag and comfortable to wear all day. My only downside is the front belt loops are a bit close to the button to the point where my belt's loop stops on them, leaving it slightly off center, but not so much it looks off. The "Been There" color was the mid blue wash as shown in the pictures, and the high stretch rating seems more like what I'd call a light stretch, which I was glad for rather than getting something really stretchy. I found them true to size with my other pants (34x32). I wear them a couple inches below my belly button, which the rise and inseam fit perfectly. I don't roll the cuffs up, so I'd add some length if you want that look with the selvedge seam. I'm 6'1" 185lbs with legs toned from running and stairs but no gym work. Overall, I think these are a nice pair of jeans that seem like they'll last me a long time, as least as long as any of my past big brand jeans have (several years). I like that they provide an entry point to the selvedge denim world by having several fits you can choose from and likely try in a store. Bonus that they were on sale for the price of a non-premium pair.

Overall, this pair of denim jeans offers great value for its price point — combining style, durability, and comfort. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for reliable, well-made jeans that age well with time.

Picked up two pair, dark wash & black. Both fit great and are comfortable, but the black wash dye faded after 2 washes right in middle of the seat making them unwearable without looking like I sat in something so they've become my yard & shop jeans til I try to re-dye them. The dark blue though are perfect and have become my primary pair. Look good, feel good.

A bit long in the legs for 30 length. Should make a size for shorter men and be able to customize sizing more. Color and material is great so far!

Have bought multiply pairs of 502's this year. I like the fit so far as opposed to my previous 505's.

Like the title says, the jeans themselves are a gorgeous black wash, a great fit, and selvedge is always a plus however my order was supposed to include gift wrapping as it was for a birthday and this was not included. That was a bummer but more than happy with the product itself.

Levi's quality has slowly declined over the past several decades. The cuts seem to change every few years. The 502 Taper Fit Selvedge are quite loose in the thighs and not that tapered. The selvedge fabric indigo rinse is not very dark and feels lightweight.

I am very happy with the jeans themselves. They are exactly what I was hoping for. I am NOT happy with Levi's. I paid retail ($128) for my jeans, and they arrived on December 30. On January 1, I received a promotional email for the same product priced $32.49. Not cool, Levi's. Not cool.

I ordered both the regular and the "premium" 502 jeans. Some of the premium jeans are 99% cotton while the non-premium are 82% cotton with the balance consisting of polyester and elastane. I find that the difference between the two is negligible with regard to fabric weight and feel, as both are quite thin and both are somewhat stretchy. Did I mention that these jeans are thin? Wow. I hate to beat a dead horse but Levi jeans are not what they used to be. The other issue with these jeans, and I've now tried on several different styles, is that the sizing is all over the map. I find that if I don't order multiple sizes in the same style, I have maybe a 50/50 chance of getting a pair that fits properly. When I do find a pair that fits properly, they look good. After that, my only concern is durability. I'd be surprised if this thin fabric lasts more than a few years.

Material is fine, yet these are not tapered jeans at the leg, they run quite large at the waist -- perhaps both concerns are quality control issues. Equally concerning, the closure is made out of cheap metal material. In brief: Not what Levis used to be by any stretch.

Sizing got the 32x34 size. The sizing is wrong. The inseam measures 32.5, not 34. I am 6’3”, they look ridiculous. The tag even says to roll them up for style. I think not. Are they selling capri jeans now? Separately, I expected a black wash but the color is definitely more gray than “Artists Eye Selvedge - Black”. Major disappointment. The only reason I didn’t give these 1 star is because the fabric seems decent and not stretchy like a lot of jeans are these days.
