Love the cut and fit, as as well as selvedge material on the Premium line. The shade looks great with a pair of boots and a small cuff that exposes the selvedge. Classic and timeless which exemplifies the Levi brand. I bought several shades to add to my collection!

These are my new favorite pair of jeans. They have a classic silhouette that is far more versatile than the original straight leg cut. These jeans are at home in any casual situation, but also fit right in at the office.

They’re Back!!

I crying the first time I put these jeans on. For the first time ever in my life I had a pair of jeans that fit exactly how I wanted them to. I got them in every wash unit they were discontinued for the 502s. I’m so happy they are back!!

Love that these are non stretch. I hate when jeans are tight in the morning, great after an hour, and look frumpy and are falling off by noon. These do not have that problem.
I’d say they are a tad too long. This is probably on purpose, so you can cuff them to “show off” that the stitching is selvedge. I don’t know anyone who would know or care.

Great build quality, waist sizing not accurate

This is my second pair of these jeans. The build quality is excellent, as is the denim fabric. The only issue for me is the waist sizing. I have a 34" waist but normally have to buy pants a little smaller so that they fit snugly. My first pair was a 32" waist, but those are so loose (even right after washing) that I have to wear a belt with them. This latest pair is a 31" waist and fits better so far. But it seems odd to me that I need to buy a size that is 3" smaller than my waist in order for them to fit. All my other Levi's jeans are size 32 and they are a bit tight.

Great cut, lame whiskering

I love the 501 Slim Taper cut so much, I've bought and returned multiple pairs looking for one with denim and finish that work for me. Sadly, these weren't them. Too much fading and whiskering overall. And the whiskering looks cheap, like it was done with a white-out marker.
I wish Levi's would do a nice plain dark wash selvedge version of this cut with no fading and no whiskering. I also got a pair of classic 501s in Scantron Selvedge, and would buy multiple pairs of this cut with that fabric in a heartbeat at full price.

The fit is WAY off from most 501s

A well-made pair of pants, but be aware that the sizing/fit is WAY off from most 501's. I consistently wear 31/30 in most 501's, but this particular model was at least 1 inch -- maybe 2 -- off in the waist. I couldn't even get the third button to fasten, and the top buttons were a good 2 inches apart. I don't know if this is due to the selvedge material or the particular dye/wash, but the fit is nowhere near most 501s.

QA problems

I got the Fade Into Black - Black color and there was something wrong with this production run. I have several other 501 ST selvedge in a size 32 and had to get a size 34 in these. Then, once i got the right waist, one leg was about a half inch narrower than the other, which was very noticeable. Thinking I got a bad pair, I tried again, but the problem persisted so I've given up. returned for the 4th time. 2 instead of 1 star because customer service is great as always.
