This pair of jeans exceeded my expectations. I buy only premium Levis now because the non-premium are not the same. Not being elitist, just saying. And not all them are as amazing, but almost all. I was was impressed with how well and smooth these felt upon arrival. Thank you.

Best jean you can buy for this price. Fit is true and has somewhat relax fit. Great for someone thats has big thighs and athletic but this is different from athletic fit which I think its just too big but this one is fit is on point!!

These are hands down the best jeans I have ever owned. The quality and fit are outstanding, and they have quickly become my go-to pair. My only piece of advice for potential buyers is that they seem to run a bit long, so you might want to order them with an inseam about 2 inches shorter than your usual size for the perfect fit.

Great classic jeans, the fit is as expected and true to size based on Levi’s size measurements. The material has loosened some over the first 10 wears but will surely retract upon first wash. Only quip would be that the denim could be thicker, I assume this is 12oz, 14 would be nicer.

Great jeans - fit is tight if you’re athletic

The jeans are a great intro to selvedge denim. Be aware that if you have an athletic build through the glutes and thighs the 505 cut is going to be very tight in those areas if you get them sized to fit your waist. As in I can’t fit a slim wallet or phone in the front or rear pockets. That said they do look good and hold up well to abuse - you just need to find a different place to carry your gear.

Bought two pairs of Selvedge straight jeans. They are very comfortable and look great. Minor issue is that the first wash really bleeds- don’t wash with anything that has even a small amount of light colors.

Classic style, great denim. Most reviews show this fit is normal, but it was small for me. I own multiple pairs of Levis, all sized 29 x 30. The 505s are definitely a bit more snug and I would have sized up if I purchased these in person instead of online.

great product but sizing is questionable

Excellent product. that gets a rock solid 5. The reason for the 4 is that I buy the same size every time and the exact same style. The new ones are like 1-2 inches longer than the previous version. Please don't change sizing. I work way to much to have time to deal with returning them and trying something else. I'll probably order another pari but a different length.

The colour (midnight selvage) is nice and fabric feels high quality but a thin feeling. It's slightly light weighted. The leather patch and the big "E" is nice to have, the stitching is good overall, and the I love I can cuff my jeans to show off the selvage ID.

Classic Levis Jeans

No question that these jeans are classic and you can see the difference in the weave from the standard 505's. They have a great feel and are a soft denim. However, they, don't fit quite the same as my other 505's; they seem to be a bit larger in the thigh and the seat, not much, but just enough for me to notice. [ I would have given a 4.5 rating but they don't have it. Since they aren't perfect, I couldn't give 5 stars.] I won't be washing these for a while, but when I do, I will be interested to see how much the fit changes. Purchasing jeans is kind of like embarking on a journey and I am interested to see where these take me.

Different sizing

The quality of the selvedge looked and felt great, no complaints there but the sizing was odd.
I ordered a size 32 waist and it did not fit the same as my other 505 jeans, it fit almost two sizes smaller. Unfortunately I couldn't wear them and had to return.

The fabric and color was great. I usually worn 31x29 in Levis 505. These ones are 32x29 and they run too small in the waist. Size is not consistent.
