Gorgeous Wash, Even Better Fit

I didn’t realize that Levi’s made a line like this for men. However, it is a high-end durable jean that will be worn over and over again. I love this medium blue wash as it is easy to dress up or down. Plus I love that the color doesn’t bleed everywhere! The fit is also lovely!

Spoil Yourself!

I received the Levi’s 1980’s 501 Original Fit Men’s Jeans (Made in Japan) for free in exchange for my honest review. I instantly understood why these jeans have such an iconic reputation. The craftsmanship is next-level. The denim feels heavy, premium, and full of character right out of the package. The fabric has that classic rigid texture you only get from top-tier Japanese selvedge denim, and it breaks in beautifully after just a few wears. The fit is timeless: straight through the leg with just enough structure to look sharp without feeling stiff. It’s the kind of cut that never goes out of style, perfectly balanced between old-school and modern. The details are also spot-on: copper rivets, button fly, vintage-style patch, and that deep indigo dye that will fade uniquely over time. If you’ve only worn standard 501s before, this Japanese-made version feels like an enormous upgrade in every sense. They’re not cheap, but they look and feel like something that’ll last decades, not years. In short, these are heirloom-quality jeans that deliver on every bit of Levi’s heritage. The pricetag may not be for everyone and most of us won't own a closet full of these, but they would make an excellent gift and I highly recommend having at least one pair. So go out and spoil yourself. You know you want to! 5 stars!

Lightweight and so comfortable to wear!

The first thought I had when I held these jeans from Levi's 1980'S 501® ORIGINAL FIT MEN'S JEANS in my hand was, Wow, how light they are and how amazing they look. The jeans are soft, durable, flexible, and have a super stylish appearance. These have become my son's favorite jeans, he is wearing size 31/34. Very comfortable, straight fit, looks good, and doesn’t sag at all. The best thing is that the jean is made out of 100% organic cotton! The straight-fit jeans, perfect for any occasion, will go with any outfit and every adventure. This jean is constructed with authentic 5 pocket styling: (1) watch pocket, (2) front scoop pockets, (2) back spade pockets. These jeans allow you to move throughout your day without limitation. I have three teenage boys who are about 6’3” tall, and I’ve tried different jeans brands, but I always go with Levi's because it consistently offers a variety of colors, fits, styles, and sizes that are not usually available, especially suitable for being so tall and skinny. I do wash it in a regular wash cycle, and let it air dry on the hanger, the jeans is easy to take care of and no deforming or shrinking that I have ever noticed. I highly recommend these quality-made jeans and looking forward to purchasing again.

Classic, Timeless, and Premium-Quality!

My husband has been wearing these Levi’s Blue Tab™ 1980s 501® jeans and he loves them. They look amazing on him. The fit is relaxed and true to size, and they are super comfortable. He can bend his knees, sit, and move around easily. They’re made in Japan with selvedge denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms for a clean, tightly finished edge that shows true craftsmanship. The fabric feels sturdy and premium, and the stitching and details are really well done. The straight leg and mid-rise make them super versatile and easy to style any way you like. Every detail feels thoughtfully made. They are stylish, timeless, and high quality, definitely a standout in his denim collection.

Check before you tag the tag off

Had already ripped the tag off & didn’t notice both cuffs were already frayed, and there was a tear by the pocket. The denim is soft & comfortable right away, should get even better with age
