these are the real 511

If you are skinny these are the jeans to buy. Levi's now makes many versions of so-called 511 but all the others I have tried have thinner fabric and are baggier and don't last half as long. Just buy the original and best.

These are super rugged and the cut is great. Slim but with enough room to move. They have elastane but I would not expect any discernible stretch. Definitely definitely definitely get them one inch larger in the waist than you would typically buy. I did that and they fit perfectly. The angled pockets are comfy. I wish these came in more than two colors.

The canvas is thick and stiff initially but this is what I wanted. The fit itself is the class 511 fit so no complaints there. Overall very happy with the product.
