Bought size 30/28. Happy with the fit. The length is right above the ankle not too short. I wasn't sure about the buttons but it worked well. I bought the blue and peach. Blue is great, the peach color looks like i dyed it myself as at the seam you see blue color. But all in all i am happy with the style. Would get another pair
