These shorts are adorable! I’m 5’ 2” measurements hip 37, waist 30, thighs 24 and 135lbs. I got size 30s and they fit perfect in the waist and the leg openings I will say are pretty wide! They feel a bit stiff before washing but once they were cleaned they fit better! I will be buying another set just in a lighter color.

I was so excited to test these shorts because pants don't fit me and I wondered if curvy fit is better. I am typically considered an "hourglass" or sometimes pear shape, with waist significantly smaller than my hips and thighs. This means things that fit my waist typically don't pull up past my thighs and hips, otherwise there's a huge gap. I ordered in my typical size, a 27 (when I measure I'm probably closer to a 28-29" waist if I relax). The shorts button up versus zip and they fit like a glove on my waist with comfortable space on my hips and thighs. I maybe could have gone up one size for a looser fit at the waist but I truly think this feels comfortable so far. These only have like 1% elastane, so the fabric doesn't stretch and feels like true denim, which will probably remain more durable. I like that the cut/length of the shorts gets a little longer in between the legs so they don't ride up in the crotch. I'm really excited to wear these more in the summer and to know the Levi 501 curve shorts work for me!

I live in jean shorts for most of the year. I was very excited to receive Levi’s 501 curve shorts complimentary in exchange for my honest review. These dark indigo jean shorts are very comfortable. I was impressed on how durable the material is and yet it is flexible to move with my body. With a slim waist, the hip curves to fit my curvy body type. I typically wear a size 29, and these shorts are true to size. These shorts have a button fly. This is my first time attempting to wear button fly shorts. At first, it took me some time to button all five buttons, but by the end of the first day , I felt like a pro. These shorts have a distressed look and the rips are in all the right places. I particularly like the look of the distressed rips on the back pockets. These jean shorts look great with a basic tee and flats. I also noticed that the material relaxed a bit after some wear and is quite comfortable to wear. I was very impressed with the attention detail of these shorts. Every seam and every stitch is perfect quality.

The fitted shorts are an excellent fit for me. They are comfortable to wear and not too tight around the waist. The pockets are spacious and narrow enough to hold a phone.

Love these levi’s 501 curve shorts! They have Classic appearance and a high-quallity, sturdy feel. The fit is súper flattering for curves , the high rise stays comfortable all day ,and the chape retention is great even after múltiple washes without bagging out. And the shape retention kepps them looking great.

I absolutely LOVE these shorts! I’m a postpartum mom and these shorts fit perfectly and comfortably. I love how the buttons replace the zipper. The material is not rough, the pockets are surprisingly wide and it kind of snatches the waist in.

They are nice but come up quite tight and are high waisted.

These are super cute! Love the cut of them and the color. They fit my waist to hip ratio super well. Only thing I don’t like is there are lots of buttons instead of a zipper.

As a big believer in “you get what you pay for,” I never cheap out on denim products. I dislike the way cheap, stretchy denim ages and distorts, and it happens rather quickly. Investing in a good pair of quality shorts that will last more than one summer is much preferable to me. I was pleased when I received these shorts because I could immediately feel that they are high-quality denim and will last a good while. Instead of stretching out and wearing thin, these will get better with age and some breaking in. I love the button closure, the perfect amount of tasteful distressing, and the classic look and feel of these shorts. They fit so well in the waist without being too tight in relation to the hip size. They do have a bit of a “wedgy” fit, which is flattering but does create a bit of a cheeky situation. In love with the front, but wish these were a tad more covering in the rear as I find myself wanting to pull them down a bit in the back after some walking around/movement. I’ll keep experimenting with the different fits of Levi’s shorts to find the perfect fit for me since I love the quality of their denim! Overall, definitely recommend and will enjoy wearing these all summer.

I am 5 foot 8 and 160 lbs. this style fit tight. I am usually a size 29 or 30, but I would recommend sizing up. I got a size 30 and they fit a little snug in the belly and pull into my bottom. These Levi’s 501 Curve Shorts are stylish and looked trendy!

These are the cutest and sturdiest jean shorts! I absolutely love the hidden button fly. I will say that I am a true curvy girl, so with "Curve" in the name, I was hoping these would have a bit of stretch to them. They do not! For that reason, I did take one star off. I think I will need to size up at least 2 sizes, unfortunately!

I’m very impressed with the sizing and fit of the Levi’s 501 curve women’s shorts. These are comfortable, flattering, and fit nicely around my waist. Even though I am tall with longer legs, these high waisted shorts are still plenty long and don’t bunch up on me throughout the day. I ordered my normal size and they are true to fit. The style of these I found to be fashionable with a faded denim look and fringed hems. The quality is superb, and will hold up well with time and washing.

Levi’s is my go to forever and always, they are so well made and such a quality company with equally quality products. I’ve never found a pair of Levi’s and thought wow this is going down hill. My vintage Levi’s are all incredible even, I don’t really know another brand that can do what they do, which is be so consistent with such quality products for hundreds of years- 172 year old company that hasn’t faltered ever. These are dreamy, my body type really loves this curvy fit of shorts. Classic 501’s with a curvy shape is just absolutely gorgeous on me, I feel so beautiful in them. I love the color, the fit, the quality and overall vibe of them. The one star I did take away is just the buttons, I like they covered them at least but I always prefer a zipper personally. They have nice pockets which women absolutely deserve (right?!) and are incredibly comfortable and don’t rise up and pull on me like other shorts do. These are so cute I will be getting them in a denim blue too because they suit my body so well right now. I lost some weight and this was the first thing I’ve put on that made me feel like myself again, and that’s what truly matters. Love you Levi’s!

Comfortable shorts. I like the fit around the thighs and butt. They have a nice little stretch to them. I have a very curvy, hourglass waist, so I always disliked having pants and shorts that were so baggy by my waist or too tight around my thighs. These are nice! They fit comfortably, the material feels nice and durable. I like the stitching around the bottom of the shorts, so they don’t roll up or fold when walking. They aren’t a heavy fabric, so will be good for summer. I don’t like the buttons, however. There are 4 inside buttons below the top button. They are hidden by the fabric, but still, I don’t like it. I don’t want to have to undo and redo 5 buttons during restroom breaks or changing. But, I’ll deal with it, because I like these shorts otherwise.

I like the color wash and the style of these shorts. They are versatile with many outfits. I didn’t care for the buttons, wished it was a zipper instead. I ordered my size but they are a little snug at the waist but still fits.

This design is great for staying on top with current trends. However, I did not find these to be plus-size friendly. I ordered the biggest size possible and couldn’t get them on (I am maybe a Size 22-24 normally). I do think these would work for others with the body to wear them appropriately, as long as you can handle the rough material and minimal stretch.

I received these Levi 501 curve women’s shorts in the size 34 in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love Levi Jean shorts one because I am a bigger woman I’m short and they usually always fit extremely well on me. I go for normally the zip up style but these are the button up. They are so cute you can dress them up and down. They last for a very long time and hold up well through just about anything. I was disappointed a little because of my recent health issues and weight I wasn’t able to button them up. The reason I gave 3 stars is because I tried to reach out to Levi and I wasn’t able to get anywhere with them. And they didn’t respond to my email to try and exchange them. Other than that I absolutely love them and hope to fit into them and wear them this summer.

I usually wear size 27in Levi’s and it típically fits me perfectly ; with this style , the fit felt a bit different that what I’m used to. I initially ordered my usual size , but it didn’t work out , so I exchange it for size 29 , even then the waist still felt quite snug while the legs were slightly roomier than expected. I also wish the fabric had a little more stretch to help shape and contour the silhouette more comfortably . I really love Levi’s , but this particularly fit just wasn’t the best match for my body .

These curvy jean shorts are super soft to the touch and I love the ripped detailing on these as well as the length. They feel like excellent quality as well. I will say these are very stiff in the waist so they aren't comfortable to wear for me personally, I was hoping for more of a stretch and they also seem to run very small. Overall these are adorable shorts and a perfect length for me and maybe a bigger size would make me feel differently about these but they are way too uncomfortable for me without having that stretch.
