I purchased these jeans after purchasing two other pairs of levis that I loved. They do not fit at all and I am so sad! I'm not sure if the others run big or these are true to size for levis

These definitely run big. Size down one or two sizes, as they DO stretch out - despite what the description says. I wore them for 5 mins and they had stretched. I love the button fly.

Happy that I can actually own Levi's now that they've expanded to plus sizes! These jeans are solid - just enough stretch so that they're very comfortable, but with enough structure so that they maintain their shape nicely. Left off one star because the waist gap is unfortunate, I kind of expected it but was still kind of bummed that with such a high waist they didn't nip it in more. The size 18 fits well everywhere else for me, but there's 1"+ of a gap for the waist - so if you've got more of an hourglass shape just expect that. Because they are so high up this doesn't make them fall down, and is easily fixed by a belt but still wish the proportions were thought out a bit more! But like I said at first, I am just happy to finally be able to shop at Levi's!

Pleased to find some Levi’s in my size that fit! I normally wear a 16 and the 16 fit PERFECT! Very true to size. As a person with bigger hips than waist, there is definitely still some significant gaping in the back of the jeans which I can’t seem to find a solution to, even with curvier fit jeans so I’ll take what I can get. Nonetheless they are super high waisted which I am really happy about and still comfortable to wear!

I have been buying these jeans for the past few years and love them. They are such a complimentary fit for my unique bodytype. This time around, though, I can tell the fabric for the black jeans has changed, it feels thin and cheap! It feels like a denim chino hybrid. I'm not a fan, the fabric feels like that of pants I would buy from target for $30. Pretty let down by this. The buttons have also changed and I'm sure it is likely all to do with cutting quality corners because of tarrifs or something? Disappointed as a die hard levis lover.

Sköna och snygga. Jag har ett par sedan tidigare och köpte några storlekar upp för att de jag har är lite tajta. Men dessa är i princip samma storlek?! Skillnaden från de gamla är att dessa har mer stretch, i och för sig skönt men det blir lite som att det inte är samma modell. Så jag skickade tillbaka. Bra passform annars.

How about something with a 'normal' waist height (what's with 'ribcage'?) and full-length legs? I love the 501 button-fly. In order to find a pair, I have put up with Levi's mischief: there is generally change the waist height or jagged/ripped the length on the legs.

I want to start by saying that the limited offering of the rib cage style in plus sizes is extremely disappointing when they’ve blown up in the straight sizes into multiple shapes, lengths, and a million washes. Why are only two colors and one length offered to everyone else? I have a 37-38.5 inch waist depending on the day and time of day and 50 inch hips. I wanted the 14 but since the size chart suggested the 16 that’s what I got. The 16 was too big and I hate the M length. I am 5’5 and I don’t love that everyone seems to think we only want cropped jeans…Because this has more stretch and polyester than equivalent styles in straight sizes I knew I needed them to be pretty fitted on first try because they will loosen with wear. Even after a few minutes on the gapping had gotten worse and the crotch was sagging. Hopefully this helps with sizing. Ideally, I would order a 14L but since that size has been sold out every time I’ve check for the last…year? It’s safe to say I will be taking my coins to a better company. Really bummed, vintage Levi’s were my staple for years and it sucks that at my current size, I can’t get quality denim.

Die Ware hat mir gut gefallen, angenehm zu tragen aber die Passform war leider ein Reinfall. Die Schrittlänge ist viel zu lang, ich konnte die Hose fast bis unter die Achseln ziehen. High Waist, ja gerne! Aber nicht a‘ la Steve Urcle. Ging leider wieder zurück.

Having bought these jeans last year and been very impressed with the quality and more importantly the fit. When they wore out I eagerly repurchased another pair and was very disapointed to find that these are not of the same quality. The fabric was different, the quality of the metal buttons are poor in comparison and the sizing was off too! Way too large! Why change a good product so much?

I've been buying the same style of jeans for years now. I love my Ribcage Straight Ankle jeans and wear them almost every day. I've bought about 11 pairs so far because I wear them so much. This is why I'm so sad and disappointed. As a plus-size person, we all know how hard it is to find a good pair of pants, which makes it all the more frustrating when we lose a good one to corporate greed. This version of Levi's Ribcage Straight Ankle jeans is thinner, and the fly buckles are made of cheap, plastic-like metal. I used to get a good year and a half out of these jeans with almost daily use. I wonder if this cheaper version (for the same price!) will last even two months.

I'm entering a jean phase so I purchased a nice variety of Levi jeans. These were by far my favorite color- a rich blue wash that wasn't navy-and style. The length of the pant make them casual and not too intimidating if you have short legs. Also, because of the series of buttons in place of a zipper I didn't run into the problem that most I often do where my big belly pushes the zipper down (often at the most embarrassing time) so that was nice as well. Why then am I giving it one star? The smell of them! If you know, you KNOW (and if you don't, you're lucky) the dreaded Weird Jean Smell. Something of formaldehyde and sulfur and poop. It's HORRENDOUS! I tried letting them air out for a day: No luck. Washing them in cold water in a washing machine: No (also, this just made it worse somehow). Freezing them overnight: Nada. Soaking them in diluted vinegar: Not even a bit of help. Spraying them down with vodka: Nope. Finally (FINALLY) I tried leaving them overnight in lavender-scented castile soap and that took away 95% if the smell the other 5% is still around the ankles, waist band, and button region where the fabric is the thickest. Trying to get these jeans to a wearable condition has been a weeklong pain in the butt....and they're still not great. As nice as the jeans are, I can't go out smelling of poop and formaldehyde and have a confident and productive day! So, one star... zero if I could.
