I ordered a Moto Welt Pocket Jacket from Levis.com specifically to serve as my “Bride” jacket for my wedding. Order a Size M and fit and color were perfect. Before purchasing, I confirmed with the Levi’s Custom Station at the Del Amo Fashion Center that I could bring the jacket in for full customization. My plan was to have full back fringe, “Mrs. Kelly” embroidered across the top back, and two patches on the front. I brought the jacket into the store, went over the customizations in detail with staff, paid for the work, and left the jacket with them. A week later, I received a call saying none of the customizations could be done because the jacket was synthetic leather, and I needed to pick it up as-is. I’m now less than three weeks out from my wedding, scrambling to find another option. I never would have purchased this jacket if I had been told upfront that customizations weren’t possible. It’s extremely disappointing to have wasted the time, effort, and money, especially for something so important and time-sensitive. I wish the staff had flagged this limitation before taking payment and holding my jacket for a week.
