About this Style
Our Barrel jeans were inspired by folks who wear super oversized vintage 501® Original jeans, cinching the waist like a paper bag and in turn creating an exaggerated "barrel" shaped leg. What that means for you: these jeans were constructed with a relaxed, looser fit and a slight taper, then cropped at the ankle. The overall effect is a bold, slightly curvy shape.

They do run big for me… everyone body is shaped different. But remember these are call relaxed jeans so they they are to fit loose.. which I am ok with.

These jeans are great. I love the color and the length. I know they would look great on taller women, but who cares, I love the comfort.
I'm 5'4", size 28. These were big, but I have super cool belts so my outfit is complete.
I am happy with my purchase. Oh, yes, then I got the ones made in Japan, and I ordered size 27--and they fit perfectly, and yes, just because I'm wearing a belt with those as well.

I usually wear size 26 in 501 jeans. Ordered size 24 in this style, and it’s still a bit loose, it feels very comfortable and easy to match with tops.

Purchased directly from a store as recommended by a sales exec. I already have white barrel jeans but in a slightly baggier fit so I knew I’d love these. Generally I’ll fit 25-26 for Levi’s jeans but the sales exec convinced me to try 24 which is a more snug and slim silhouette and I adore them! Inseam is definitely shorter than 30”…feels more like 27-28. I’m around 5’5.5” so I wear these more like a crop. My torso and legs are balanced and I have a small waist so there’s still some gap at my waist but these sit nicely at my hips. The material for these jeans is a lot heavier. There’s very little stretch in these so be mindful of that. Overall very happy with the cut and the gorgeous deep indigo color.

I’m a Jean collector and these jeans really added to the mix. Love that they’re an old brand but a unique dark denim. The fit is great and the silhouette is very hip.

Great pair of jeans!!

One of my favorite pairs of jeans! I am 5’3 and 110lbs and ordered size 25. They fit perfectly. Not too loose not too tight. Love the plain dark wash and the slight barrel fit. Got so many compliments wearing them and I suspect they will get even better with time. Highly recommend. On me they are not that cropped and I may shorten them by an inch or so but other than that they are perfect.

Dark Wash Awesome but a Bit Short

If you're so over the skinny jeans trend, then try these babies! They have a modern silhouette and cut that looks very NOW. I'm 5'4"/155 lbs and agree with previous reviewers that they are short. I'm long-waisted with short legs, and the 29 hits above the ankle on me. Very cute with retro kicks, so I'm not sad about that, but I think they'd look a bit weird with boots. IMHO. I love the dark wash, so I'm putting these in heavy rotation with pretty much everything (slouchy, fitted, cropped, oversize) in the wardrobe.

I absolutely love these jeans, but they are enormous. I usually wear a 28 or 29 in Levi's Wedgies, so I ordered a 28 (on sale) in the darker stain, but then had to size down later, which was kind of a pain, because the waist on the 28 was huge. I could have even gone down to a 26. I ordered the 27 (at full price) and then returned the 28 to a local store, which was able to honor the sale price that I had paid for the 28. I *really* appreciated this, especially because these jeans are so expensive. All's well that ends well, because these jeans have a great shape and a cool color--so cute with shorter, cropped tops and sweaters. I love these jeans so much that my Wedgies are getting a much needed break. Please offer them in dark green, charcoal, and other colors!

I love these jeans, great quality and style. They fit very large though, I wish Levi’s was consistent with this made in Japan line with fit. Not cool that they were final sale when I bought them because I am consistently a size 27 with all Levi’s but these.

Unique jeans for a unique look

[Employee of levis] I love these and am wearing them regularly. As the other reviewer noted, the barrel style runs a little big which personally I like. It gives me a baggy look without looking sloppy. I particularly like the unfinished hem on these. After wearing several times, I have found that the denim strips on the "weaving" are starting to fray and I hope that they hold up OK (I am avoiding washing as recommended!). I've gotten many compliments and people want to know if I did the handiwork myself - sadly no!

Ich stehe mich sehr auf ausgefallene Jeans, deshalb hab ich diese hier gekauft. Leider ist 32 viel zu groß.... ich trage normalerweise W31/32 bei Levi's Jeans, in diese Jeans passe ich 2x rein.... probiere es jetzt, mal mit 29..

They are very short, I am 5.1” and they were short on me. The denim it’s very nice. I bough size 28 as I usually buy that size in barrel jeans but I think I need a bigger size to look like the model. I returned it.

Fits true to size. But they really are super short, not just cropped. I thought that they might be longer on me since I’m 168 and not super skinny but no. Too bad cuz I reeally liked the fit apart from that :( I returned them

Misrepresented… but cute!

When I opened the package, I was surprised to find that the jeans are actually made in China, but the fabric is from Japan. The website and the name of the product misrepresents this. Upon trying them on, the size chart appears to be calibrated for someone who wants their pants much more baggy than the model in the picture. So don’t be afraid to size down if you’re looking for the fit in the pic. They looked well made and the denim was pretty sweet. I returned them to my local Levi store with zero hassle.
