On the positives: fits true to size and is tapered around the leg, they’re quite stylish. They hug the booty very nice too!
On the negatives: if you’re easily bothered by textures, keep in mind that the seam around the chap will make contact with your leg as you move and it can be a bit annoying.

These fit true to size. I wear 25-26 (I have 26.5-27 waist 34 hips). I ordered 26, 27 and 28 to try on because of the reviews. The 26 fit me like original 501's, a relaxed casual fit. The darker denim is a little softer than the grey leg part, which is comfortable and I got them to also horseback ride in, so that is a plus. They're very cool. Unfortunately, they don't look at sexy on me as they do on the models--maybe they look better if they are tighter so I would actually size down if you are between sizes, but I'm in a loose-waist phase with the holiday gains and my 25's have been feeling too tight when I sit!!

Definitely a stretch to fit pant

I just got mine in the mail and they are so cool! However, they are definitely a stretch to fit pant I’ve been lunging all over the house trying to stretch them out. I have a bit of a wide thigh which is the area that’s being constructed most. I would suggest going up a size just to give your legs more room to breathe and if you don’t want a tight fit at all probably go up two sizes.

RUNS SMALL! (But v cute)

I am grateful that I ordered 2 sizes since these jeans were on sale. I love the unique two tone “chaps” look. The 100% cotton is sturdy and the construction seems great. HOWEVER, YOU NEED TO SIZE UP TWO SIZES. I typically buy 28 or 28 waist in 100% cotton jeans. If I know I want a comfy fit with 100% cotton jeans, I stick to a size 8 (29) in most brands including Levi’s. In this pair I ordered a 29 (8) and a 31 (12) because the size 30 was not available. I could not get the 29 to button and the 31 fits me like I’d expect the 29’s. Love the fit, and I don’t care about numerical size (I do not have 31 in any other pants that I own), but it’s important to consider that these run very small. I have noticed that Levi’s sizing is inconsistent, but these jeans are made very well and I do recommend.

Very small and stiff

I bought these in a bigger size then usual and they were still very small. I could not fit into them. The fabric is very thick and stiff, maybe that is why they did not fit.

Schön, aber unbequem

Die Hose ist super schön, aber leider sehr eng und unbequem. Habe sie dann nochmal bestellt (eine Nummer größer) und sie ist immernoch recht eng (habe sonst bei Levi’s immer die gleiche Größe). Leider kann ich die erste auch nicht zurück schicken, sehr schade.

Gute Qualität, fällt leider sehr Klein aus

Dadurch, dass die Hose so steif ist fällt sie sehr klei. Aus. Ich trage nur Levi’s Jeans und habe immer die gleiche Größe. Diese habe ich nicht mal ganz hochziehen können. :( Meine dünnere Freundin kam zwar rein, aber hat eine Taille. Dort ist die Hose sehr weit. Nichts für kurvige Personen :)

I'm a size 16, usually a size 33 in most brands. I know Levi runs small, so I sized up to size 34 to be on the safe side. These jeans wouldn't even go over my leg. Their largest size is closer to a 10 or 12, not a 16 or 18. Size up for straight sized folks, skip for plus sized folks.

The sizes of 501's especially for women are extremely smaller than they used fo be . They do not even fit my knees . I normally would wear a size between 31 and 32 these 31 felt like they were a 28 .

Was wanting to love these

Very upset that these didn’t fit because the size I need is now out of stock. Was looking forward to these. Love the style. Extremely stiff and the thighs were incredibly tight for the waist ratio. You’d have to have no butt and small thighs to fit into even a 28. I’m not even that curvy but I could barely move around in these.

ATTENTION AU SIZING!!

Je fais un 34 et j’ai récemment acheté un 501 en taille 23 qui me va à merveille.
Je réitère donc en taille 23 avec ce modèle, qui est sensé être un 501 sans stretch aussi et selon Levis « qui taille grand ».
CATASTROPHE!!il est microscopique je le ferme à peine et ne respire plus une fois le dernier bouton fermé (avec le plus grand mal du monde pour cela)!

I’m shattered by the sizing of these. I couldn’t get them up over my thighs. I have other Levi’s that have no stretch, and I haven’t had this severe of an issue.
These are the coolest jeans I’ve ever seen and I’m so sad they won’t fit.
