This is a versatile cargo short that just cut on the knee. There are many useful pockets that are not hard to access yet still provide adequate protection. The fabric is hefty and breathable. My large phone fits nicely in the front lower pocket and my wallet doesn't fall out easily from the higher thigh pocket. The inner lining of the pocket is thick enough to resist key scratches.
