Plenty of material on the backside, and the waist comes up to small of back without feeling exposed back there. The legs come down to the knee like the picture shows. I'm 6ft with a 58 waist but I got the 60 inch to keep it loose and use a belt.

First of all what’s in the picture is what I ordered but that’s not what I got. I got a denim long sleeve button up shirt in a 2XL which is to small for my husband.
