This is a versatile cargo short that just cut on the knee. There are many useful pockets that are not hard to access yet still provide adequate protection. The fabric is hefty and breathable. My large phone fits nicely in the front lower pocket and my wallet doesn't fall out easily from the higher thigh pocket. The inner lining of the pocket is thick enough to resist key scratches.

I realize that cargo shorts aren’t “cool” and are relegated to the “dad” realm, but until our spouses/partners/S.O. start carrying a bag big enough for all their stuff and don’t have to ask to carry their phone/lip balm/keys/money/etc. I will continue to wear cargo shorts. Cargo shorts are the man-purses of the clothing world and these shorts are perfect!

I really like these Levi’s Cargo Shorts. They fit well and are well made. I was initially disappointed that Levi’s stopped making them with Ripstop material, but these are fine. The material is softer and doesn’t seem to wrinkle much.
