Best work pants hands down!

I bought the 505 Regular fit workwear utility pants and will no longer buy any other brand work pant. These were true to size, and had a nice slim not skinny look and feel. They had the perfect amount of stretch and give and didn’t hang off your hips or sag. One gripe is that there is no gusseted crotch but not a deal breaker.The utility pockets on both legs are awesome and the front pockets are wide and deep so nothings falling out! I do wish they came with a hammer loop tho. Lastly the canvas duck material feels twice as thick as Dickies or Carharts and I think will hold up well for the trades. I definitely recommend these pants and as long as Levi’s are selling them I will be buying them.

I’ve worn virtually every work pant out there; these are the best by far. Why? The stretchy fabric allows full range of motion, the pockets are large and plentiful, the quality is first-rate. I’ll have four pairs when I receive this recent order- thank you Levi-Strauss, these pants are winners!

I am a high school shop teacher. I prefer jeans because they take the abuse better that Dockers or lighter weight materials. These have a heavy weight material but look a little more dressy that blue jeans. The pockets in front are big. They hold my phone, glue sticks, Altoids, wrenches, drill bits, note paper, etc. I like the fit, colors, pockets, and material. These are my new go to pants. I wish they came in more colors.

I love these pants

These are the most comfortable work jeans that I have purchased, not to mention the great features like the extra pockets on the legs! Very nice, I would definitely recommend these, and will purchase them again!

These pants are awesome. They've held up just fine for over a year, and still look good.

I use these pants for work every day as a mechanic and between grease grime and other fluids they have held up just fine! No thin spots in the stitching and clean right up if they get to gross. Also great for the PNW weather by not getting super heavy when working in the rain and still thick enough to block the wind. Definitely fits better and is more comfortable then my carhartts. Has handy little pockets too.

These jeans feel thicker, and stronger than the regular pants. A utility pocket on each leg is nice. The best is these jeans now are back to the 7 belt loops of the jeans from long past days. After washing in hot water, seems a bit tight in the butt. I will purchase these again.

These jeans are awesome for work. They are tough material have pockets for everything (pencils, Stanley knife etc) so things are on hand and are very comfortable.
Unfortunately Levi’s choose StarTrack to deliver them. StarTrack have no customer service, do not card missed deliveries and dump everything directly at the post office. This means that the price of the jeans are higher because I have to stop working to go an pick them up. If Levi’s could use Australia Post or other delivery service, I would have given the jeans full marks.

Disappointed that these are discontinued

I bought one pair a few years ago and wore them on weekends to do housework then almost daily during COVID. The side pockets are my fave -- I can store all my daily carry items in these jeans. I bought three other pairs for the inevitable day the first pair would wear out and/or the style would be discontinued. The waist on the first pair was a bit lower than I like; subsequent pairs fit at the waist instead of below. One knee tore vertically a few months ago, the other knee suffered a catastrophic vertical tear all the way up and down the leg. :-(
I have my fingers crossed that Levis will bring this version back, albeit in a sits-at-waist style. The loose fit carpenter's jeans currently available aren't for me. I already lived the 90s, thanks.

Incorrect length, 32 inches was in fact 32,5, and for the first time of my 44 years life, I had to let tailor to shorten my jeans because the given length was not trustworthy.

I bought these on the basis that they were 505’s. They are totally different to 505 jeans. Lower waist than 505, different pockets, side pockets all make these totally different. If you think you are getting something the same as 505 Jeans you are not.

505 jeans are not the same as 505 Utility pants

As someone who has worn 505 jeans for years and loved them, I was shocked and disappointed to find that the last order contained Utility pants rather than the 505 jean that I had expected. I naively thought that 505 was a description for one kind of jean and had no idea that it had morphed into a utility pant with slanted pockes and additional side pockets. Very disappointed. Call them Levi Utility pants or make up a new number. Don't confuse people who have been wearing your product since the 70's with new styles under an old number code. That said, they are comfortable and seem to be a great fit. Just not at all what I had expected. Still deciding whether to return them.

I love these pants except 1) they are large for the size; 2) they wrinkle so bad I could not get the wrinkles out with a hot iron..I ironed them over and over.
I've worn Levi's all my life. I prefer the 501 but these pants were 505 only.

Wrinkle nightmare!!!

I thought these were going to be a great go to work pant but after washing them the wrinkles came on like gang busters!! I figured it was just the initial wash but they wrinkle everytime I wash and dry them. Having to iron my jeans before work is not my ideal way of stating my day!!

I really like the Levi’s brand, but this time the pants were very tight in the crotch area. Unfortunately, I couldn’t exchange them for another size because they were on sale, and it wasn’t possible to return it.
It would be great if I could get store credit or if they could give me a size that fits better with this style of cut.

Size is not the same as other pants

I bought these on sale so can't even exchange them. The size all my pants are is the same so I thought these would be no different. Wrong. These are about two to three sizes too small. Not very happy about it.

The waist on these was way too small. I ordered my usual size, but the were so much tighter that I can’t even wear them. Ordered on final sale so can’t swap em either
