This vintage-inspired silhouette is a throwback to our 1936 Type I Jacket with period details like its double-pleated front, single chest pocket and cinch back for an adjustable fit. We update this Type I Jacket with a relaxed fit and side pockets for the best of the old and the new.

Nice alternative to the typical denim jacket

I much prefer the style of the Type 1 and 2 jackets to the Type 3, was stoked to find it on sale in this nice dark rinse and I guess intrigued to buy my first piece of selvedge denim. I copped and almost kept a relaxed fit type 3 and I felt that was a true relaxed fit, I could have gotten away with wearing a medium in that. This did not seem oversized at all, it seemed to fit like the regular style type 3 I had tried on, which was a pleasant surprise. It looks trim but still had enough room that I could throw a sweater on under it.

I received a Levi's jacket for testing and review. It's a very nice jacket, well-made, and the denim is thick and comfortable. I received it in size L. I'm tall, and it's a perfect fit. It's oversized, and very comfortable. Perfect for cooler days. I recommend it.
