Nice jacket, unfair exchange policy

A very well designed and comfortable jacket. The only thing keeping this from a five star review is the unclear sizing and unfair exchange policy. I'm 5'10 and usually wear a medium, but the size description suggests the jacket runs large so I ordered a small instead. Although the length fits me, the jacket is a little too snug for my liking and I believe the size description is in reference to bulk, not length. This item isn't available at any locations nearby so there wasn't a way to compare sizes before purchasing. And since it was on final sale, I cannot exchange it for a medium. I'm somewhat pleased with the jacket because of it's design and comfort, but I would be much happier if I was able to exchange it after having tried it on.

Appears high quality, very warm, couple issues...

Jacket is as advertised. Shearling quality seems high, the multiple panels are very uniform in appearance and overall construction appears solid. Medium fits very well for me at 5'10" and 170 lbs. Two issues: most of the buttons don't snap securely. They pop open easily. It seems that the rings inside the receiving / female side of the button are too loose. Also to note that there's not much in the way of secure pockets. There are inside pockets, which would be nice except they are just a pass through to the hand warmer pockets. So anything you put there can fall out of the side. Meanwhile, the snap-close chest pockets are quite small. Thus no place to secure a normal sized wallet and the like.

Review of shearling jacket

Too big, too boxy, no shape in the silhouette, no any elegance. Too bad, cos is nice sheepskin wasted. Best way for LEVIS is too make replicas of any kind of garments, from LEVIS collections of late 60' and early 70'. That's top of LEVIS industry, coolest jeans, jackets, shirts of any kind and quality materials what company use in that time. Now on the market we have selvage collections for extreme prices. Try to make shearling jackets not too boxy, make athletic figure fit. Thank you

Alleged no stock cancellation

order got cancelled saying no stock however magically a day after there was stock selling for a lot higher have a feeling levis just cancelled my order so they would not have to honor the lower price.

Price change

Great jacket great fit BUT I paid $1,200 and the next day the price was dropped to $750? Doesn’t seem fair I think a credit or something is due, I’d buy more if Levi’s would compensate.

Close but no cigar

The quality of the shearling does not match the price. I have multiple leather jackets including shearling and this one did not make the cut. Although the style is iconic the fit and finish was not good enough to keep the jacket. It also came packaged horrible with the front pockets folded up. Not what I would expect from a jacket that’s over 1k.
