Do Levi’s® jackets run small?

In general, Levi’s® jackets run true-to-size. Some styles, however, have an intentionally oversized or shrunken fit. If that's the case, we'll call it out in their description. If you like having extra room, we recommend going a size up—especially if you plan on wearing a hoodie or thicker sweater underneath. A relaxed-fit jacket is another great option. Like Levi’s® jeans, each jacket style has its own unique fit. Here are a few of our most popular: - TRUCKER JACKETS: A Levi's® original since 1967, our classic Trucker Jacket fits structured, comfortable and tailored to your standard size—maybe even a little snug. Again, if you like a looser fit, you may want to size up. - VINTAGE-FIT TRUCKER JACKETS: These have a comfy, relaxed fit with a little more room in the shoulders and sleeves than our standard Trucker. They also have a boxier shape. - TYPE 1 JACKETS: Expect a relaxed fit from this vintage-inspired style, or size up for layered looks.

Do Levi's® jackets shrink?

Levi’s® denim jackets are made with prewashed, preshrunk denim to minimize shrinking during washing—but we do recommend using cold water and line drying as an extra precaution. Jackets made with other fabrics, such as linen or corduroy, may require special attention to prevent unwanted shrinking. If you machine wash and dry your clothes, consider sizing up when buying your jacket. Overall, we recommend washing all Levi’s® jackets in cold water and avoiding bleach. To keep your jacket from shrinking and give you years of wear, here are some care tips based on material: - Trucker Jackets (100% cotton denim): Air dry or dry flat to maintain shape. Wash infrequently, spot treat if needed and turn inside-out when washing. - Cotton linen jackets (cotton/linen blend): Do not dry clean. Wash inside out and air dry or tumble dry low. - Sherpa-lined jackets (composition varies depending on style): Air dry while avoiding direct sunlight. You can also tumble dry low to maintain softness of the sherpa lining. - Corduroy jackets (cotton/polyester blend): Wash inside out and air dry or tumble dry on low..

How to wear a Levi's® jacket

Levi’s® jackets are timeless, so don't overthink it. Just choose a fit you love and layer up. For classic casual, we love slim joggers, a hoodie, Trucker Jacket and crisp white sneakers. If you want to mix it up with some texture, try a sherpa-lined corduroy jacket, your favorite Levi’s® jeans and a white tee. And if you’re feeling retro, go for the Type I jacket over a vintage band tee, straight-leg chinos and a pair of high-tops. No matter what you choose, wear it with confidence. Throw it on, own it and have fun.
