Longer Than Expected

Ordered these in-store; but was shocked at how long they were. My stores staff all had bedn wondering what these looked like IRL too. Turns out, the drop-crotch design lengthens the pant. For shorter persons (present company invluded), you will need to get a hem. But? Thats what the redtab membership is for! Pleat is very pretty, and i love the black patch and black tab details.

The website currently says these run big, they certainly do not. I sized up and they fit, but certainly not in the way I would expect a size up to fit.
Great construction, cool fit otherwise. Love.

Watch the Pleats, find a good tailor.

These sit higher on the waist, size one down. Pay attention to the pleats because the slightest pull at the waist throws off the fit. They are 1000% not a 30L, more like 34-36. You’ll have to get these hemmed by a denim specialist because they have the most subtle barrel curve at the bottom that a hem will chop right off: if not altered correctly, the entire fit is different.

Beautiful Japanese denim, but...

Beautiful Japanese denim, but sadly I had to return them as the cut was straight up extreme; and nowhere near close to the modelled images. Maybe I should have read between the lines regarding the sale discount, but nonethless I thought it worth taking the risk.
The fit around the waist was perfect, but the width of the jeans were just straight-up comical, tantamount to "tent-like" Hahaha ;)
It's a genuine shame, as if they fitted like the images depicted they would have been a beautiful pair of mens high waisted pleated wide leg jeans, but alas the search continues. You have been warned.
