These are amazing!!!

These jeans are made to buy your normal size and they’ll shrink to size. If your looking for the sprayed on jean look these are not for you, these are perfect in the waist after shrinking and relaxed and roomy throughout the rest. Pretty cool details for the anniversary excellent denim too. Loved them so much I bought a second pair!!!

Beautiful pair of jeans. Nice and clean cut. Awesome details of 150 bday. Strugling with size? Just buy your normal size.They are bigger than normal sizing because STF. If you like bigger or double cuffs go one size up in lenght. My STF guide: -soak in hot water one hour to loose the starch -then machine wash on 60 no spin or minimal (my is 600) -hang dry (wear damp if you will) -perfect fit after first wash.

Amazing jeans with awsome detailing

Im loving these jeans. Usually wear a 32x32 and after reading reviews on these i purchased a 32x32. They arrived like a 34x34 and after a soak they are now perfect classic 501 fit. Been wearing them frequently since Christmas and im really enjoying them, i will soak/hand wash them again in about 6months plus and see how they turn out patina wise and hopefully they shrink a tad more. Thankyou levi's, timeless cool forever.

501 stf jeans are just amazing

These are beautifully detailed jeans in a fantastic colour. I normally wear a 32x32 jean (nudie, levis, next and m&s) (im 5' 10" and 80kgs) my last pair of stf 2014 105s were a 31x32 and they are now a tap tight on my thighs so i went for a 32x32 (which is like a 34x34 in normal jeans imho) in the 150th stf jeans and after a 45c soak for 30mins and hung dried they have shrunk to the perfect size and shape. I might try hotter water from just below the knee down to see if i can get them to taper a tad more. Over all super happy and cant wait to get some patina on them. Thankyou levi's.

Wanted a baggier pair of jeans as i have plenty of fitted dressier jeans for more smarter type of occasions. So bought a 36” x 34 long leg & put a belt on.. Im a 34 x 32 so bought these and turned up the hems. I love them. Just the style i wantwd to achieve.

These are among my favorites pairs of 501s. I ordered my normal waist size and 2 inches larger in length. After a soak, they fit wonderfully. They were very baggy before shrinking, but they're perfect afterwards.

I’ve been wearing shrink-to-fit 501 jeans since the late 60s and have vintage 1944, 1947, 1955 and 1994 501. While these are not vintage jeans, the quality of these jeans is better thanks the rest. I’m 6 feet tall and have longer legs so I’m glad they offer these in 36 inches in length as they will ultimately shrink about 4 inches in length. The leg widths are closer to the vintage 1955 501s so, if you are looking for trim fitting jeans these will not be what you are looking for.

Good and thicker denim than usual. Break in is awesome. I washed it one time and it shrunk maybe 10% and started to wear it. A month of wear and it’s breaking in nicely.

My lesson on shrinking to fit

So the shrink to fit jigsaw. I’m 62 so I’m not sitting in a bath, but I saw these at a readable discount on this site and bought some. I’m 36/30 in 501 so I purchased 38/32 as the guidance goes. They arrived and were great quality but huge, like clown pants. I reckoned they needed tough love so - wait for it - I washed them on 90 degrees and tumbled them until extra dry. They still seemed a little large so I washed again at 40 and hung them til dry. The waist and length are bang on the money, the legs are fine- a little more room than reg 501 of the shelf but nothing I’m conscious of and completely fine. The jeans are great quality

These seem to be a heavier weight denim. I had the leg tailored to more of a 1980s cut. They will shrink to fit, so size up.

J'ai été tellement ravi de mon premier achat que j'ai profité d'une petite remise pour en commander un deuxième. Arrivé rapidement, comme d'habitude chez Levi's. Mêmes caractéristiques, même taille que le premier, la qualité du tissu est remarquable et coutures et finitions sont parfaites. J'ai suivi le même procédé que pour le premier (trouvé sur internet): lavage en machine à 60 degrés avec très peu de lessive, essorage à 400 ou 800 tr/min puis port du jeans humide immédiatement en sortie de machine de manière à ce qu'il épouse parfaitement le corps en séchant, un peu désagréable au début mais pas insurmontable, c'est pour la bonne cause ! Séquence à répéter une fois par semaine et 3 fois au total. A l'issue des 3 lavages, le coton semble conserver sa taille définitive. Je répète donc pour celles et ceux qui ont un doute sur la taille à choisir: prenez votre taille habituelle ! La paire de jeans reçue sera légèrement plus large (1 taille) et plus longue (2 tailles), mais tout est calculé pour qu'après lavage à l'eau chaude elle rétrécisse et atteigne sa taille attendue. Le tissu s'adoucie après lavages et le confort est top, peut-être un peu ample pour certains, c'est un style antique indémodable, du cowboy quoi ! Et j'adore !

Beautifully made jeans and so comfortable. I think there's a lot of confusion on the sizing though. Maybe I'm wrong here but I'm sure if you order your normal size they come larger to account for the shrinkage on the first wash. I'm a 32" waist and I bought that size and they still had quite a bit of room in the waist. I would think purchasing two sizes bigger a little extreme. Remember that the leg length will always shrink more than the waist, so I did order a 32" rather than a 30" leg which I am usually. I'll just cuff them for now until I soak them. Always wash inside out and never use a spin cycle or tumble dry, that will absolutely ruin your jeans.

J'avais un doute sur la taille à choisir, vu que tous les avis divergent sur ce sujet. J'ai même appelé le service client pour avoir leur avis, même eux n'ont pas su me conseiller... Bref, j'ai finalement pris le risque de commander ma taille habituelle (enfin une taille de pus, j'ai pris du poids récemment !!), et quel bon choix. A reception, j'ai comparé avec un autre 501 de même taille et la différence est d'environ une taille de plus en largeur et deux de plus en longueur. Levi's a donc découpé ses jeans en tenant compte du rétrécissement après lavage. J'ai effectué un premier lavage à 60 degrés avec très peu de savon et un essorage à 800t/min de manière à pouvoir le porter et le sécher sur moi dès la sortie de machine. Après ce premier lavage, le jeans a perdu une taille en largeur et deux tailles en longueur, ce qui correspond exactement à la taille indiqué sur l'étiquette. Donc, pour résumer, si vous hésitez comme moi sur la taille, pas d'inquiétude, commandez votre taille habituelle, il arrivera plus grand et rétrécira à la bonne taille au premier lavage (à l'eau chaude évidemment). Les finitions sont top, il est super agréable à porter, que du bonheur !
