Excellent jeans....so well made. More than happy Well done Levis

I own more LVCs than I should ha ha. These 1955 raw LVCs are classic. I also have a pair of 1947s, 1933s and several really rare LVCs like 1905 209 coveralls and a pair of 333s. These 1955s are some of my favorite everyday wearers. (I have a well worn pair from a few years ago) I like the anti fit. And I think these might be the last of the Cone Denim 1955s. As we denim geeks know Cone closed last year. The pair I just got today were made in the USA with Cone denim. Don't know if that is the same with the rest of the stock they have so get a pair while they are still available.

These jeans do not shrink as much in length as the original jeans did. If you try to get clarification from Levi's on this matter, no one seems to be able to answer your question. They will tell you the jeans shrink approximately 10%(which really means nothing). These jeans shrink about 2 inches in length. The original double x jeans shrunk 3 inches--be warned.

Habe mir eine 55er LVC 501 in 2009 gekauft, und die war true to size. Habe mir in 2016 wieder eine gekauft, und die ist viel weniger eingelaufen. Cold soak brachte so gut wie gar nichts. Nach drei Wäschen und einmal Wäschetrockner ist sie von der Größe her OK, aber leider ist nun soviel Indigo raus, dass man so gut wie keine "Zeichnung" mehr hinbekommt. Schade.

The jeans that were sent to me had the left leg seam running up the center of my left leg. How this passed quality control is a mystery to me. This was a shame, i got these jeans during the sale on line and cannot now get a replement. Not very happy. I have many Levis jeans of various colours and never had this problem before.
