Slightly different fit in the legs, perfect sizing

Love the selvedge 511s. They have a straighter leg than the regular 511s so bear that in mind when you buy them. They don’t really taper. Still great though. And they roll up at the bottoms like a dream. Better quality.

Really loved the look and feel of these jeans. I had to go up another size than my usual because of the lack of stretch, but it will break in for sure. I think these will become a daily wear for sure!

The size fits well. It is comfortable to wear and a little bit stretchy which is good for walking and moving around a lot. It is also durable. I put it in the washer and dryer like normal and it came out normal.

I got these in the size 30x30, they fit great. They are skinny fit, but not too skinny. They feel comfortable to wear all day. The material is good, and very durable. They look classic and are great for daily wear.

Not a good cut for heavier selvedge denim

These jeans are OK, but they are not as nice as the 501 selvedge. Something about the tighter cut doesn’t feel right with raw denim. I’m pretty slender, but they might be a good option for an exceptionally skinny person.

Are 511 Selvedge Really Better?

Jeans are fine. No problem there. But I don't see any visible difference between the material of these and the "regular" 511 jeans. They are slightly tighter throughout as well, and really don't have any noticeable stretch. If you want a little more snug jeans, get these. Otherwise, save some money and get the "regular" 511's.

Great looking/fitting Jeans, tiny front pockets.

Quickly became my go to pair of jeans. At 5’8” 168lbs, I ordered my usual 33x30 size in a 511 fit and found the fit to be as expected in the waist, rise, and inseam but felt they were just a little snug in the hip and thigh area. After a few wears, and many squats, those areas have stretched out and the fit is comfortable. My only complaint is the front pockets and how difficult and almost painful it is to get my hands into them. The actual pocket size is fine but the pocket opening is the smallest I’ve ever experienced on Levi’s, or any jeans for that matter. Not sure if I got an unusual pair but that will be a considerable factor if I decide to keep next pair.

These are slim fit Levi's. True to their name they fit exactly how they should. The jeans are very good quality. They are also very comfortable. My biggest complaint would be that the pockets are too small. If you have your keys, wallet and phone, they do not fit well.

Unfortunatelly they run long, my usual size 32 inch leg is about an inch too long. Shame they don't do 31 length. I had to return it.

The flex denim just doesn't look right. Kind of weird with a selvedge trim. Imagine if these were made with 100% cotton- vintage denim with slim fit.

It's small in the waist

They waist is really tight. I had to wash them and then stretch the waist by doing squats for 10 minutes while the jeans were still wet. After letting them air dry, they fit fine. Since i dont wash jeans often, like twice a year like the CEO of Levi's reccommends, it should be fine. The fabric is not as smoothe as GAP selvedge, but it guess than comes down to personal preference.
