These jeans are very comfortable, and look nice also. There’s enough room to wear my merino wool base layer without restricting movement, and the pockets are deep, 550 jeans have been my go-to for many years.

Men love me in my new 550 “butt huggers”. Better than Wranglers. Better than Spandex. The denim easily repels spilled greyhounds while I’m grinding on the dancefloor. The original Levi’s were worn by miners looking to strike it rich in California. The only miner I’m looking forward to in my Levi 550s is a gold-digger-miner that wants to peel out in my Mazda Miata and paint the town pink!

I like the fit and feel of the Levi's 550. The only thing that disappoints me about the 550s is the tendency for the material (stitching) to separate around the groin area after about a year or so.

Very comfortable and looks good, does not hug my legs tightly and are not too baggy either. I have thicker thighs and butt and it's harder to fit jeans that aren't stretchy. This one isn't stretchy but there's ample space to move around and squat down. I measured myself and got the size that fits the dimensions exactly and the jeans are perfect.
