It's not the 517 I'm used to buying seemed a lot lighter and cheaply made.

As stated in the title, great bootcut shape. I went with the same size as my 501 size and they fit very well. It's got a decently sized rise just like 501s so if you want to tuck in your shirt with these or not, they work well both ways. I do think these can be improved upon though to make it the perfect bootcut jeans by... - Make the back pockets the same size as the 501 back pockets. The current back pockets on these feel too long, leading you to have to dig deeper to get your wallet/card holder and so it makes sitting more uncomfortable too, and because of how long these pockets are it leads to a less flattering shape for your behind (not that I have any problems in this department because I have a great butt but ymmv). - Giving it a button fly instead of a zipper fly. Zipper fly feels cheap compared to a button fly. Make it like the button fly on 501s to give it a more premium, built to last, and slightly weightier feel. I don't want to be in a dark vibey bathroom at some trendy bar or restaurant and accidentally zip my junk up (painful), this can't happen with button flys! So yeah, I hope a human employee at Levi's actually reads this feedback and hopefully reports back to the higher ups to implement these improvements for future 517s and not some bot copy + pasting a response to this review!

I don’t know where these pants came from but I've never bought a pair with a pleat down middle of my leg. 😡🤬👎 I worked for 2 days trying to get it out. I can still see it. 😡🤬 I WON'T buy another pair from you.

Thin not quality expected ….. who knew Levi has gone cheap. Purchases these for husband for 10 years or longer and these are just a huge disappointment.

Bought two pairs of the Premium 517 Bootcut Rigid style jeans and both were too short. Had to order a 3rd pair a size up so they'll fit, that's a waste of like $160 on jeans that don't fit. The non Premium 517s fit fine, the Premium do not, they seem to run short. I wear a 32x30, both Premium pairs measure under 29" inseam making them "floods". It's annoying. I thought the first pair was a fluke so I ordered another and same thing. I never was my jeans in warm or hot water nor dry them in the dryer- both of these jeans were washed in cold water and hung to dry. I'm not too sure what is so Premium about the premium jeans aside from the thicker rear Levi's patch. Unfortunately Levi's return policy ain't that great so I couldn't return them for another pair. I'm stuck with two unwearable and rather pricey jeans.

I ordered 34 W 30 L and received 30 W 34 L and Levis doesn't want to exchange for the correct ones...

As a long time customer your quality has gone to trash now all my jeans are ripping at the pockets and every where else seams coming apart . Waste of time to email support no response will not buy again . Thin material now junk

Within 3 weeks, both these pairs of jeans ripped out on both sides of the pocket.Same place.Unfortunately, I have 2 other pair .

Sizes are not correct, I ordered 36w and 32L this was the size that came but they are much to long
