Are Levi's® women's jackets true to size?

In general, Levi’s® women’s jackets run true-to-size. Some styles, however, have an intentionally oversized or shrunken fit. If that's the case, we'll call it out in their description. If you like having extra room, we recommend going a size up—especially if you like wearing hoodies or thicker layers under your jackets. A more relaxed fit is another great option if you're looking for something with a little more room or if you’re between sizes. Each women’s jacket style has its own fit. This is definitely one where you may want to consider sizing up for extra layering room. - '90s Trucker Jackets are throwback cuts with a relaxed fit. You'll have plenty of room if you choose your true size. - Karlie Utility Jackets are standard-fit with a cinched waist. Go with your true size unless you need to layer up underneath. - Soft Chore Jackets are timeless classics with a standard fit and compact silhouette. We recommend your true size unless you are between sizes or want extra room for layers.

How should a women's Levi’s® jacket fit?

Unless intentionally oversized or shrunken, a women's Levi's® jacket should fit structured, comfortable and tailored to your standard size—somewhere between snug and slightly relaxed. The seams should align with your shoulder line and sleeves should touch the top of your hand without covering it. Your jacket’s length should hit at or around your hip bone for a classic fit. We recommend going with your true size to get the perfect fit, unless you’re in between sizes, prefer a roomier fit or plan on layering under your jacket. In that case, you should size up. Levi’s® relaxed-fit jackets are also a great option that offer a looser fit without being baggy.

How to check if Levi's® jackets are real?

Authentic Levi’s® jackets will have the “Two Horse” brand patch. Look for stamping on the buttons and detailed care tags, too. Depending on the year your Levi’s® jacket was made, look for a red tab logo that reads “LEVI’S®” with a capital “E” (pre-1971 or as part of a limited-edition reintroduction in 2018), “Levi’s®” with a lowercase “e” (1971–present) or just “®” with no brand name (10% of red tabs are blank). Be wary if anything looks off, such as uneven stitching, a cheap feel to the denim or if the price seems too good to be true.
