ANGIE BEYINCE: Angie Beyince. Women’s empowerment is very important to me because I feel like women are the least respected, the least heard. When you step into your power as a woman, you’re told that you’re angry. To become my full self I had to let go of fear. Fear of not being successful, fear of the unknown, fear of not being accepted. I’ve been working since I was sixteen so I’ve dealt with a lot a lot of things in life from from males and so when I write my music it’s important for me to give messages to women to feel strong, and feel proud of themselves, and it’s okay to go through different things in life and to be knocked down and get back up. It’s okay to fall in love and allow your heart to be broken because someone else will love you even more, so it’s important that those messages are in music because music inspires people and it heals people.
