I got this belt to pair with a new 501 STF, attracted by the "full grain leather" billing. After about five months of regular wear it looks about right as to where a real leather belt should be. It's definitely got some kind of paint or varnish on the top of it to darken it, and that's the first thing to wear. So I see a couple of scuffs and lines where I set the belt or clip things to it. And what's showing through is lighter, but complimentary in color. Nothing going on like you would see in "genuine leather." No fraying or peeling. They are getting some character with age and the construction still looks solid. It's a fun little belt, simple construction, nice material. Design is chosen well. Good color and width. Smelled heavily like leather for the first month. Which is a good thing. Might be the nicest belt you can get in this price range. I like it. I think you would too, unless you need a belt that will show zero signs of wear for professional or dress use. In which case no designer belt will work for you - and you should step up to boutique level.

Beautiful belt but the light color stains easily. I tried cleaning the stain but it’s still there. I liked the belt so much I replaced it. This time I’ll try to be more careful.

Received a Levi's Icon Belt in light brown today. This is my second one of the light brown men's Icon belt, the first which I no longer possess matched almost identically to the online image that has been illustrated on Levi's Online to at least today's date of 8/8/18. The Icon belt received today is a darker shade of brown than shown online with the beveled edge dyed a very dark brown possibly black color. I would imagine the country of origin has changed for I have received Levi's belts from China, Italy, Mexico and Romania but this much difference in appearance warrants a new image of the belt one is to receive to be shown online. Quality belt and buckle that fits true to size that I would have given four stars had it been the belt I wanted to order, had the belt I received matched the illustration that I expected to receive I would have rated it five stars.

I wear a size 34 waist. I am so glad I ordered a size 36 size belt. it is just right in my fit.

I did not size up on this and that is my mistake. I'm a size 34 and got a 34 belt, but the first notch for the belt is a bit tighter than that. I didn't think to size up because it's a belt.

This belt seems pretty good quality but the black one definitely has some sort of paint finish on it, even being full grain leather. The belt also runs small. I am 34 sized and the 36 fits on the last hole.

The belt is exactly what I wanted from a quality and style standpoint. I ordered it two inches larger than my jeans waist size, and can only buckle it to the largest hole. I guess I need to order four inches larger next time.

It's a nice belt, for my 2nd choice. It doesn't have Levis stamped into the buckle like my 1st choice had, which was out of stock so cancelled.

My normal waist is 29 and order size 30 still too small last hole right now! I wish I order size 32.

I bought this belt as a replacement for a near identical brown Levi’s belt I’ve had for years! Ordered the exact same size and this one is wayyyyy to small. I’m in the very last loop at the moment (talk about motivation to not gain weight)! Great belt but order a size up

You can't go wrong with a simple belt. No whistles, no bells, just all natural full grain leather.

I had read the reviews and so I ordered the belt 2 inches longer than my pants waist size. It barely reaches the first hole when pulled hard. I recommend ordering at least 3 and probably 4 inches longer than your pants waist size.

its nice but its small i bought it in a 32 thinking it would run like walmart belts do but no this thing was so tiny i gave it to my son who has a size 27 waist and fits him perfict

Couple of big issues that you should know. First, unlike all other belts, Levi's sizes are wrong. If you order a 36, that's the total length of the belt -- and it won't buckle. It would make sense that a 36 belt would work on a size 36 pair of jeans. But you'd be wrong. Second, although belt is black on one side and brown on the other, you can't buckle when you turn the belt over. You CAN look at the brown side, but you can't wear it that way. Otherwise, nice belt -- if you order 4 sizes bigger than your waist and are happy with just one color on a 'reversible' item. Best to just stick to their denim products

I bought some jeans and a belt, both with a 36 inch size. The jeans fit perfect, however the belt is to small. (Maybe I should have ordered a 38 or 40 inch belt?) My comment is if 36 inch jeans need a 40 inch belt, maybe your website should recommend to purchase the longer size? (Unfortunately for me, the inconvenience of returning the belt is not worth the effort, so I will try to find someone who can use it.)

The belt immediately tore open on the end you buckle in the first time I put it on, I was very disappointed

I bought this for my son who likes his jeans baggy in the waist so he usually gets a 36 but is probably realistically a 34. I ordered a size 36 and he couldn't even come close to getting it to the first notch. It was too small for his friend who wears a 32! I guess I will keep looking for someone to gift it too, what a waste.

The color of the belt is several shades lighter (almost a sandy color) than the picture on the website.

My son is a size 32 waist, and I thought my purchasing a size 34 belt would at least get him to the next to last buckle hole; but this was not the case; it went to the very last hole; so, if he gained any weight at all, it would not be usable as is; since I had the order shipped to him, he'll have to find a hopefully not too far Levi's store to return or exchange it!

I wear 501's in a 44 forever. Bought this belt in a 44 and it could not close. Put it up against my old belt and it was about 4" shorter.

Belt ruined white shirt because it stained it. Otherwise it seems to be a good belt. But being unfinished and not stating such is such a huge problem that it does not deserve better than a 0. Brand new white pullover too ...first time I ever wore it. Now it's for yard work.
