I usually wear a size 28, but after reading the reviews I decided to size up 2 sizes to a 30 and it was perfect. The waist is a little bit big, but if I didn't size up I wouldn't be able to get the shorts past my thighs. I definitely recommend listening to the reviews, I'm glad I did!

I wear a 26 normally, but sized up to 27 according to reviews-- it turned out to be very loose around the waist! I would say go with your regular size, or only size up if you're between sizes. Will sadly have to return (and look for my size because they're sold out everywhere!!). Otherwise, the color, fabric and fit are really cute.

Many people say these run small-- I felt they were true to size. Am usually a 0 and ordered a 25. Fit great. Button fly is a little annoying, but you get used to it. They are very short but cute, medium height waist.

Did the size check which recommended by usual size 28 (6 reg in pants, small in Beyond Yoga, Lulu etc.) and that was how I was leaning anyway so I did. I LOVE these. For me, true perfection would be to shorten the rise an inch and add an inch to the length. Yes, they're tight to put on but they quickly shape to your body and become perfectly "not tight" while holding their shape so you don't have to wash & dry them to make them shrink back like stretchy denim. I particularly like that they don't bind/cut my thighs or waist (5'4", 135)

I bought these at the Palm Springs Levi Outlet and I fell in love with these shorts. They are so incredibly well fit, and rarely ride up. I have one pair in washed blue and one in washed grey and they are both super comfortable and the color actually does not fade, but the grey shorts shrunk a little bit when I washed them and hand dried them. Overall, amazing shorts and I'd buy 20 more pairs. #win501

My favorite summer shorts hands down, I wash them and put them right back on. I love the fit and the higher waist is complimentary also. I am 5’10”, 125 and usually wear 25 and got a 26 in these. I have to wear a belt but it gives me a little bit more of a generous cut in the behind that I like.

I'm 5'2" and 120lbs with a short torso, and I wear size 28 Levi's. These fit great as a high waist short and are short, but not too short! I love them. They are snug straight out of the dryer and relax after a days wear. These have a button closer. #win501

So this is a little weird, but I ordered both sizes 27 and 28. 27 is my normal size. In the Tidal wave I like the 28 better, but in these it's no doubt the 27 looks better. I think it depends on the style and color of the jeans honestly. I liked a little more looseness in the lighter wash. I put a two pictures of myself under the review in Tidal Wave. I'm a size 2-4, 5'5" tall 119 lbs for reference

Great faded distressed jean shorts

Ok after reading a lot of reviews and lamenting over whether to order my regular size 27 waist (sometimes 26 depending on brand) I decided to order up one size to 28 and I think they fit perfectly! I am 5'5" 120 lbs for reference, lean muscular build. I think it depends how you want them to fit - I didn't want them like the model (tight and short) I wanted a little looser fit, higher waist, some distressing but not too much and these fit the bill. I ordered another pair 3 X the price from another site and they don't compare to these! The original levi's are the best - if you want them tight order your size, otherwise go up just one size I think.

I listened to the reviews by ordering 1-2 size larger. Well, these people don't know how to wear shorts. I am 5'1 118lbs and I wear a size 26 in Levi's jeans. I ordered a 27 and it was loose especially the waist area. I like my shorts to fit my butt and waist. So if you like to wear it a little looser then I would suggest ordering a size up. ONE not TWO. If you like a fitted look then go with what you usually wear. These are shorts, not capris, so I don't understand why people are complaining that they're too short.
