I bought these for a vacation a month ago, and have since been waiting for the weather to warm up so I can wear them again! The fit was true to size other than the waist on me. I generally have a curvier figure so my quick fix was to add a couple darts in the waist and it was perfect! Wash looks just like it does in the photo. #sweepstakesentry

These shorts are fantastic! I love how high-waisted they are, super flattering and you really can't find anything like them. The quality is amazing and once you break them in you will never want to wear another pair of shorts. Seriously. These are my go-to pair of shorts in the summer and I've gotten so many compliments on them. I got it in my regular size 24 and they fit wonderfully. Overall, just a really great pair of shorts.

Ordered the frayed and the black. The frayed was slightly smaller than the black, this slight variation in size is normal for Levi’s, so may size those up or reorder another pair to see if they fit better. Otherwise perfect shorts. Quality denim and great fit

I am usually a size 23-24 in jeans/shorts from other brands, but I bought my last two pairs of the same style of Levi's mile high jeans in a size 25 after the 26 I purchased intitally was way too large. One fit fine in my waist but didn't compliment my frame (squished the booty). The other was way too tight. It really turned me off to this brand. I do have a "curvier" petite frame, meaning my thighs and bum are larger and my waist is small. I read all of the reviews and bought a 25 in the ribcage short and a 26 for safe measure. I found that the 25 fit perfectly and the 26 was too large. So yes, overall, Levis run small, and their sizing can be inconsistent, but this was a win for me! I purchased the medium wash and hope that they come out with some lighter washes soon because I will buy them all (so long as they fit the same). The rise on this short pinches my waist at just the right place and hugs my curves without squishing them or exposing too much.

The Late Shift is a perfect wash of pure black. I love how black the dye is on this fabric . It also has not stick like some black dyed material. My favorite shorts. Fits perfect ! True to size

I am petite and always have a hard time finding high waist-ed shorts that fit my pear shape. Because of how high these come, they did not gape in the stomach nor were they too tight in my thighs. I have recommended these to a bunch of my friends!

I am 5.8, 130 lbs with a 26 inch waist and 37 inch hips. Let me tell you as a fit individual these are worth every penny, bought a size 26 and the waist was slightly big but nothing horrible as well as it actually covering my butt!

Great shorts. Very high rise, all the way to the ribcage, as promised. Fit like a glove and very flattering on any body type. They are snug and very tight around the waist all around so might feel like a corset on some body types. I'm 5'8 wearing size 24 and they make the legs look miles long! I'm getting another pair in the same color because I'm afraid they will sell out.

Absolutely LOVE the look of these shorts. My buttcheeks don't hang out and they're very high waisted, but the feel of them is uncomfortable. They have zero stretch to them.

Love the snug above-bellybutton high waist, and slightly looser fitting leg (for those with small butts + skinny leg), however, you'll need boyshorts underneath if you have skinny legs, or your private bits could be exposed when bending. The fraying is kinda out-of-control, so you should try to seal the edge to prevent further fraying when washing. I'm 5'6" & 114lbs and usually would be a 24 but had to size up to 25 for the crotch to feel more comfortable, and for days if I'm a bit bloated. I love the row of buttons instead of a zipper. Sturdy jean fabric you'd expect from Levi's--not as stretchy as other jeans on the market. I got the washed black.

I love these shorts! They do seem to run small but are so cute and a great length, especially if you don’t want super short shorts! They are much more expensive than I would ever pay for shorts regularly. I also wish they had more size options.

The fit was fine and the shorts were comfortable, but not what I was looking for. The elastane in them was super stretchy and they are really fitted. I wanted more of a vintage look and these shorts were not it. They seem like they would be comfortable, but just not for me. Sizing was spot on, I read other reviews and they said they run big? I didn't experience that. I'm 5'6" 120lbs, I fit a 25 and got a 25 if that helps anyone.

tried these on in store. the popular 501 shorts didnt fit my right at all. these were perfect for my longer torso (im 5’7” and 146 lbs w/ a little bigger thighs but nothing crazy). i wear a 28 in levis jeans but i had to get a 30 in these rib cage shorts. they fit perfectly though and dont ride up. i have a bottom heavy booty and usually it hangs out the bottom. in these its close to hanging out but it doesnt. i love them!

I usually run between 25 and 26 between different brands, this time i was a 26. They're comfy and stretchy, but they're a button down fly (which i didn't know) which is impossible for me so I returned them.
