Height: 5'5" I bought this about a month ago, after buying the indigo flower wash and being really dissapointed to find that it had embroidery (read my review on those). I was happy to find that these jeans were as advertised in color, size, and fit. When I bought these jeans the waist fit pretty nicely with minimal tapping, but the thigh and butt area were a bit tight. I made sure to wash the jeans separately, and lay them flat to dry. After the first wash, the jeans were so tight. They were a bit suffocating in the groin area. However, after a day of wear they had almost completely lost their shape and were a bit loose. I wore them 3 more times before washing them again, and the fit only got looser. After the second wash, the shape had recovered, but wasn't quite as tight. This could be because I hand washed them. After the first wear (of the second wash) the jeans loosened up again, but not as much as the first time and they stayed a bit more flattering. I wore another 3 times before washing them again, and overall they kept their shape more but did get a lot looser again. After the third wash, they tightened up again as expected. Throughout washing them, the color has not faded, and the fabric has stayed rough. There are no loose strings. If I hadn't rated the other wash, Indigo Flower, 4 stars, I would rate these ones 3, but because they are arguably better than the other jeans I don't want to rate them less. I included photos of the jeans throughout the wash/wear cycle.

First off, they have alright quality and fit nicely. They are a true high rise that come up over my belly button. The color is a dark indigo, almost the exact same color as the other color that I bought. I wish it had been advertised a bit better that there is embroidery running up and down the legs, because I like everything but that and it's a pretty big detail. I also wish it came in a longer length than 29", maybe 29.5" or 30". There are also a couple of loose threads that make me worry about how the pants will hold up.

I’ve been waiting for Levi's to bring back the vintage 70’s style jeans for ages and was excited to try these out. These jeans come so close, except that they lack the exceptionally high back pockets that the old vintage Levi’s jeans so wonderfully possessed. Those high back pockets jeans will flatter your backside like nothing else! Oh Dearest Levis, PLEASE bring back those high pockets jeans that we love so much! Seriously, I would wear them for the rest of my life.

These jeans had the potential to be great, however,the back left pocket is "off" on its positioning. Not the typical further from center than the right pocket. It makes your behind look uneven. If you are looking for a good fit, try the other 70s without the wellthread title. I have a pair of 70s that are NOT wellthread and they fit like a dream (probably because they have 1% stretch and these do not) Also, if you have a bigger rear, the size you wear in the normal 70s needs to go up one size for these wellthread version since there's no stretch

The size runs two sizes smaller than your actual size. For example, a size 27 felt like a size 25.

La taille est trop haute à mon goût. Je trouve le toucher rigide.

Really good quality fabric, and a pity these size 29 inch waist jeans were probably two sizes too big. I'm a standard size 10 or 29 inch waist in Levis, usually! Sorry had to return and size 27 was unavailable.
