The shade is medium blue, so they give the appearance of jeans that have been washed for several years. The style is a little trendy due to the whiskering and thighs, but not extreme. Levis 511s fit my body very well and I have several pairs in different colors. Leaving aside that I've bought jeans with the wrong sizelabel (this has happened 4-5 times with Levis, and I mean they're off by a size or two, not the 1/2 size variance you expect), I don't even have to try them on.
