I absolutely love these pants. I ordered a 16 but the 14 would have been the “right” fit. I like the relaxed look though. I have very wide hips and I was a little afraid they wouldn’t fit me. I wish I could get one more pair!

Can you believe there was a time I used to squeeze into 33's in non-plus size jeans?! With these hips? Talk about denial! Anyway...I finally purchased a tape measure. -50in hips -39in waist -28in thighs -45in abdomen (right at my bellybutton) So according to the size guide for plus size bottoms I would be an 18. I initially bought these size 18M and they were about 3in too big. I exchanged them for a 16M and they look great and feel so good! I might still even be able to get a 14M since there is a bit of gaping at the waist and a little scrunching and gathering at my abdomen but honestly they still look so good I might just get them tailored instead to fit more proportionally. Overall absolutely love them and need them in BLACK asap!

Love these jeans, but they were meant for someone a little curvier than I am. For reference, I have a 40’’ natural waist and 49’’ hips. A size 18 was comfortable in the waist but huge in the thighs and butt. Size 16 was good in the thighs and butt but too tight in the waist. This is a frequent problem I have with Levi’s, and I’m tired or having a saggy butt and extra fabric around my thighs. I decided to size down to 16, and ask my neighborhood seamstress if she could add two inches to the waist so I can sit and breathe comfortably. She did, and now they look and feel great. They make my butt look round and high and the slim straight leg is flattering. Still working on softening them up (they’re old fashioned and feel like cardboard) but I’m making progress. Personally I’d rather have tough jeans that are durable and need breaking in over pants that feel soft on a first wear and break down and bag out quickly.

These are high quality, but run narrow in the hips and thighs. They’re also super thick and rigid, I can’t imagine them being very comfortable. I am usually a size 22 and bought a 24 and couldn’t zip them! Giving three stars bc they are amazing quality denim if you can get your size right!
