I took a plunge in ordering outside the usual 501 Vintage range. So glad I did. Apart from feeling totally comfortable all round and a perfect fit, the quality in this selvedge denim is second to none. In fact, I may be talked in to ordering another pair.

After ordering these online, I received them within 2 days. Super quick. I was about apprehensive as I usually go 501 or Vintage, but I’m glad I got this pair. Fit absolutely great, feel sheer quality with the higher quality denim. Can’t be happier.

Ordered these during the weekend and they just arrived. I’m absolutely stunned at the beauty of these jeans! The quality is impeccable! I love the Selvedge stripe on these! The denim itself is super clean. A perfect indigo color and they shine a little. The stitching is super clean. The patch is perfect. Zero patina or wear at all. I look forward to wearing these a very long time! I love the attention to detail and the absolutely amazing construction of these. I cannot compliment these enough! I love that the inside crotch area also has a Selvedge stripe. These fit perfectly! I ordered a 36 waist 34 length because the classic Levi’s had a 34 length and it’s perfect! These fit great I look forward to breaking them in! Good thing is they are superrrr comfortable so that is going to be fun!

Basically I’m denim lover who always start with rigid denim. These are perfect. It looks great rigid denim and cut also so natural slim but not skinny. When first wear, it’s really crisp but it getting stretch and comfortable.

I am reviewing the Crisp Dark Wash Levi's Made & Crafted 511 jeans. Although it’s hard to find, I look for jeans that fit just right and wear-in over time as though they were hand-made for me. I managed this years ago when I bought a pair of Levi's Cone Mills selvedge denim jeans. It's now several years later and people ask about the jeans when I wear them because they fit so well and have such a great (now faded) indigo color. Now comes this new 511 crisp dark wash selvedge denim from Kaihara Mills. This is an amazing pair of jeans. The cut is pretty much perfect and the denim is beautiful, with a nice medium-heavy gauge. These jeans cost more, but in my opinion the price is worth it for a pair that you will wear for years, and that will only get better over time. I think they really are a pair of jeans that everyone should own.

One pair fits like a dream. The second pair did too - until I tried to put my belt on…the jeans’ belt loop was unattached. I couldn’t wear them. Will return for replacement. Just having to do the extra legwork but still great jeans.

Made & Crafted was worth it before the prices jumped up even though no 2 pair fit the same. Now I’m going back to A.P.C. which M&C is now in the same price range with because A.P.C. higher quality and their fit is precise every time. Bye bye Levis.

These were my weekend and going out pants. I enjoyed how they looked as the blue started to wear off and gave them a classic distressed look to them. However, the mid thigh seam has torn. Not due to using these pant as work pants or for any additional unnecessary wear. I expected more for the price.
