The holistic performance of the jean is awesome and eventually I will buy more pairs

Great fabric, Quality construction, and fit. One can spend a lot more on Italian designer jeans, Which I have done in the past, but you won’t have anything close to this well-made and designed Blue jeans. I’m impressed n just bought a second pair.

I’ve been waiting for the 511 to be available in a stretch clean dark rinse color jean for a long time. Although these fit well, move with you without being too heavy, the color is not quite what I have been hoping to see. I have been waiting for a resurgence of the Rigid Dragon or Rigid Envy 511 color ways of years past, but have not seen anything close to those clean versatile washes. I realize both of those aforementioned washes were 99 to 100% cotton with little to no stretch, but the colors are so great I keep wishing to see Levi’s bring back a stretch version of one of those colors. Even the current 501 Clean rigid would be a great color addition to the 511 fit. Add the same 98% cotton 2% elastic/stretch that these new Japanese selvedge jeans have and Levi’s might have the perfect jean. The color of these is dark indigo and although it catches warm lighting very well, the deep, clean ‘dressed up’ denim look isn’t as consistent in cooler lighting. I wish Levi’s would consider lean towards a warmer dark clean rinse indigo wash than continuing to roll out purplish royal blue indigo washes like the Dark Hollow and Midnight Rinse 511 washes. Keeping these jeans. Not looking forward to the inevitable fades that will come with the selvedge construction of these, but hoping they will keep their original dark hue long enough for Levi’s to offer a better, warmer toned dark clean pair of stretch 511. Do the right thing Levi’s and bring it back the Rigid Dragon or rigid envy models with 2% stretch. Or try something new and carry over your Clean rigid color to the 511 fit with the 98% cotton 2% stretch material.
