Run slightly bigger than I expected but makes the fit kind of perfect so I’m very happy??

I bought this a year ago as a skinny jean I altered it to my style, I feel very comfortable!

I love everything about Levi's jeans. I normally wear a 27 in their long jeans which fit unbelievably perfect so, I bought the same size for the shorts. The shorts are cute. They just do not fit me right. At the waist they stick out in the back with about 2 inches of room. Everywhere else though, skin tight. Where they are sewn at the bottom is slightly tighter which causes them to ride up. I was going to exchange for the next size up however, then the waist would be even bigger! I am just going to snip the sides so they are so tight. If you have slim legs and do not really have a booty you will be good. Once again though, cute, I love the look.

I was hoping that the length of the leg would be as pictured, a couple inches below the crotch but these barely covered my butt cheeks! I'm not sure I was sent the correct style as I receive the selvedge 501s. I LOVE the dark dye color, the high waist, the fit and the selvedge material. I liked that the fabric was thick and sturdy and that selvedge avoids the shredding and dangling strings that usually happens when you wash cutoffs. HOWEVER, I was so sad that the leg length was non-existent.

I am usually a size 26 in shorts, but bought a size up for extra room. The size 27 was very tights across my legs but gapped in the waist. I usually don't have problems like these with shorts, so I don't think the style is a good fit.

These shorts are adorable however they fit me to big. The size chart on the website said I would be a size 25 but there is a lot of extra space in the waist area. I'm bummed now I have to pay for shipping to exchange these for a size 24. Were these shorts pre shrunk? If not and they would shrink, how many sizes?

I was really looking forward to getting these, but they were cut way too short and did not look the length they are in the picture. Going to have to send these back.
