I have been wearing 501's for several years and during that time I have always appreciated the button enclosures. The jeans tend over time to mold to your body and yes I actually worn them when the fabric was threadbare!

Great denim

Great jeans. For me, I did a basin soak for 30 minutes at 60°C, then rinsed them to remove the excess indigo. After that, I wore them for about 1.5 to 2 hours with little exercise and plenty of walking. I didn’t want them to stretch too much, as people mentioned in the forums. Mine are Egyptian-made, and I love the craftsmanship. The old ladies did an amazing job. Much love to them, and thanks, Levi’s.
