For me the fit was perfect. The only negative was the button fly. How I wish there was a “501Z” with a zipper.

As great as usual. Perfect fit, good quality, comfortable.

I ordered a pair of Levi’s 501 jeans for my husband as he loves the 501 fit, and they were on sale. The jeans arrived, and all the stitching on these jeans are in white thread. This particular sale allowed no returns or refunds and this white stitching may well be why. The white stitching doesn’t look bad, it’s just “different”. The jeans fit my husband fine. Had there been an opportunity to exchange these jeans for a pair of 501’s with the traditional gold stitching, we probably would have exchanged these jeans for a pair with the gold stitching. Am hoping that Levis is not changing to this all white stitching. I have worn Levi’s for decades and expect them to consistently have the same workmanship. White stitching on my jeans is a deal breaker for me.

You Can’t go wrong with Levi’s, and like Nike JUST DO IT!

When I was in college (in the 1970’s) I worked in a store that sold 501’s. I sold them every day. I wore them every day. At some point, I moved on to other pants, and after 20+ years, bought a pair of 501’s. They feel and fit exactly the same. I’m not quite shaped the same, but they are like an indigo time capsule . I like them so much I’m getting another pair. Thanks, Levi’s! Some things are perfect as is.

They are 501® Original Fit Men's Jeans for a reason.
