These are the perfect length - not to short and not too long. They are a lighter material but it makes them very comfortable. Super stylish as well and were more high waisted than expected (in a good way).

These are the perfect summer shorts! I've been looking for a pair of jean shorts that aren't too short but also not too long at the same time. These fit the bill! I'm a size 28 across all Levi's products. Everyone says that the 501 style runs really small, however, I've always found them to be extremely true to size. That being said, I would order your normal size in these shorts. You won't regret it!

Perfect everyday pair of jean shorts!!

I bought a couple sizes, and was very pleased to see they’re pretty true to size! I’m 5’5”, 130 lb with a 27” waist and 38” hips, and the size 28 fit me perfectly! Their snug at first (in a flattering way), but loosen up to be super comfy without losing their flattering shape. It’s always hard to find shorts that are small enough in the waist, loose enough in the butt, and long enough that I’m not exposing any tush while going on walks. Not with these! Their cute, fit great, and are great quality!!

Excellent everyday shorts

I thought I wouldn't like the length, because I'm 5'2, but I actually really enjoy them the way they are. They're high waisted and cuffed on bottom, you can actually adjust the length to make it a little longer if you want. The fabric is like soft but durable, very easy to move in. Super cute!!

I love how these shorts don’t have the ripped end. I also love the fact that Levi’s is making shorts. The other shorts I own are all either too thin, falling apart, or don’t fit right. I think it’s definitely time to buys some Levi’s shorts. #sweepstakesentry

I ended up getting size 27 from another shop and they gape a little too much. However, I really liked the style so ended up keeping the 27s. They are nice and casual, perfect for me!

Love the fit of these shorts my only complaint which is probably my age but I find the holes and the distressed look and not really being able to find shorts without it very annoying. Please make more shorts without pre made holes!

I always wear size 32 in Levis. These shorts are great but a little tighter than my other shorts of the same size. Unfortunately they don’t make them any bigger so my only option is weight loss!. Sending them back is not an option as I live them!

So confused by sizing!

I spoke with a Levi’s rep they told me to buy a size 31 (I usually wear a 30) 31 was sold out so I bought a 30. I could not button the 30 so I sent it back. I bought a 31 and in a couple of days they are super loose... not sure if I should just try to stretch out the 30’s? Or get the 31’s altered? They are biggest in the waist. I am rolling the waist over... I love Levi’s products but the sizing drives me nuts. I bought some stretch jeans in 29 cause my 30s were loose and they are constricting. I can’t even wear them they are too tight! But I bought some 30 stretch shorts and they are loose but not loose like the no stretch 501 shorts. Confused.
I will always buy Levi’s because of the quality they last longer than any other jeans. I just wish I could find a pair that fit me or maybe get custom sized jeans?

love everything about these shorts, they were exactly what I was wanting, just a little too small. I am a size 28 & 29 normally in Levi's ordered a 28 in these based on reviews, but I exchanged them for a 30 because I want a looser fit and after looking at some other sites reviews decided to go with the 30.

I love love these shorts! The material is great, the color is great, and super comfortable! They were bigger than I intended so I have to exchange for a smaller size (which explain the 4 starts instead of five). The waist is bigger than it says as other reviews state. This is my first Levi’s purchase so I wasn’t sure what size I was and sized up to be careful. Once they have it back in my size I’m exchanging. Super excited for wearing these this summer! #sweepstakesentry

The length of these shorts are perfect, but the waist runs big. They are about 0.5-0.75" bigger than the 501 original shorts and you can tell a big difference when you try them on. I would suggest to size down unless you have larger thighs. I am 5'7" and 120 lbs I got a size 25.

Good staple short but cut is inconsistent

These shorts offered a great staple option. The wash is nice, they have a nice rise around my belly button and the rolled cuff is just below my buttocks. Unfortunately one leg opening is smaller than the other and the shorts are tight on one side and rib and irritate my leg.

Good but not great

I like the cut of these shorts and I also appreciate that they're 100% cotton, which means they will last longer. I had a hard time getting them on, though. The tiny buttons on the front were difficult to fasten and hurt my fingers. I wish I had sized up since these feel like they're cutting me in half when I sit down. I also forsee the folded edge being finicky after washing; that would probaby need to be sewn down. I plan to return them, but I don't think I will wind up getting them in a different size. I like my shorts effortless. Zippers all the way.

So if you have a butt on you, and thought maybe these would be different, it’s the same old wedgie inducing fit. And the pockets sit high, making your butt look low.

These are fine shorts, but the rise was not as high as I expected. I was looking for high rise shorts that would cover my belly button (for wearing crop tops, etc.). When they arrived, they actually said "mid rise" on them and did not cover my belly button.

Fits weird

I typically wear 30 in Levi's jeans (and have plenty of room in the legs around my thighs), so I ordered a 31 in hopes that would be adequate to have them fit a bit baggy like they do on the model. The waist is too big and gapes in the back, even when I'm standing straight, and the legs are way too tight with no extra room around my thighs. They *technically* fit, but not at all as I was hoping.
